this is a good question - hopefully others will add their experience. freezing properly cured weed is a way to store it. it is a dried herb and subject to the same properties as any dried herb. This would imply that there is no way to stop deterioration over time - the trick is to minimize the amount of damage and maximize the amount of time it takes to lose flavor/potency.
so you want it take as long as possible to completely dry out - this is known as the curing phase. the longer it takes to lose moisture the more flavorful and smooth will be your smoke. After the drying/curing process is ended store your buds in sealed glass jars. And yes, if you got a lot and need to store it longer term you can put in the freezer to increase storage time.
I have always put mine in the freezer, and never had any deterimental effects to the overall potency. then again its not in there all that long...hehehehehe
Ive tried and tried, but,,,, after searchin all these theads I get distracted, and keep reading the wrong ones all the way through, because they are mostly very interesting.... but thanx anyway, and I will try......... nice avatar.....

sorry but I always get distracted with pics of hot chics, and always will,, and thanx for the info,,,, got it,,,, again,,, you guys are great!!!!!!!!!!!!
i know after you dry your buds your supposed to put them in jars and open and close the lid every few days to keep the moisture out so mold doesn't form and to keep the buds fresh, do you only do that if the bud is still a little wet from hanging it? and if the bud is completely dry, and you put it in a jar do you not have to worry about opening and closing the lid every day or so?
yea, would the mold factor be gone after weed is totally dried??? So then you could just leave it in there?? Im also wondering if vacuum seal works for long periods, sounds reasonable like don majic advised, just dont know enough about it, need more info, dont want to lose a nice crop to mold or anything else,,, bugs already like to help themselve while growing,,dammmm spider mites,,, you know I hateum.....
