hes growing outside hes just starting them inside not finishing them also. what he has will work.oo, if that's the case you would benefit from throwing in a few blue bulbs in there, should boost growth even more.

Killer advice, man! As I said before, I'll be rechecking this thread all season long for tricks, and advice.illinois soil is very fertile thats why inidians inhabited this state. you can use w/e nutes you want.... i only use nutes on my outdoor plants only when they look like they need it. like yellowing leaves and shit like that. you growing in your yard or guerilla style?
Awesome. Not having too much concern with fertilizing will make things alot easier. So, I could order some good soil mix, add some perlite to make it easier for them to breath, and I should be good. MAYBE some veggie fertilizer in June, and some flowering fert in Sept... If Im understanding you right.
I'm doing multiple guerilla gardens. Some will have to be a good distance from my house.
try to find a place close or not to far from a water source, rigging up a subpump and hose if you have to. a major concern of your sould be rabbit and deer. rabbits mainly when there young plants. i would reccomend some kind of low key fencing or protection, with a combo of like a sock soaked in coyote piss, and put into something or hung from somewere were it will give off a scent and not get rained on soo much. like a hole in the trunk of a tree or even a small birdhouse hanging from a tree. i noticed some of your plants lean sativa your strains i mean. the lemon haze may have an issue finishing flowering. i had some mexican sativas hybrids outside this year that i picked in nov. and needed more time!
and also to avoid detection dont put all your eggs in one basket.... have a few plots with smaller numbers of plants rather then one huge plot that will be easyily noticed from air. this way your guaerentied a harvest.... hop[e this helps
I noticed that noone had said anything about my light. I was assuming it meant I was ok. I will say that they market that 430 Son Agro bulb as having an enhanced blue spectrum for better vegetative growth. No one mentioned it yet but that HPS bulb you bought is only enough for flowering.... for vegging you want to use a 6500k spectrum bulb..... CFLs or MH all I can think of, I would recommend the MH if you can get one.
have the soil your growing in outside analyzed by the deparment of agriculture they can tell you the NPK value of your soil and what you need to add in what amounts to reach a desired pH. just tell them your growing corn and they will be able to tell you what you need to get your soil right. some colleges will do it also I know Michigan State University does but they have a huge agricultural department.
Not a bad idea for a couple of spots, but most of my grows will be kind of sporadic.have the soil your growing in outside analyzed by the deparment of agriculture they can tell you the NPK value of your soil and what you need to add in what amounts to reach a desired pH. just tell them your growing corn and they will be able to tell you what you need to get your soil right. some colleges will do it also I know Michigan State University does but they have a huge agricultural department.
It's definately the RURAL part of Illinois Im livin' in... My whole family are all hicks! Haha!most of illinois esp rural ill. is dominated by cornfields. the soil here is dank all the farmers usually need to do is till and add a lil cow shit. we got that black gold when it comes to soil.
Awesome idea! Thanx 4 that. +repIf you can, find a really dense bramble bush, or really anything with spikes, or hell, just a really dense thicket! Cut a secret path at about rabbit-height and then clear out a small place to put your plants. If you can, find a nitrogen fixing plant thicket, such as French Broom (thats where i'm putting mine) (I believe french broom only grows coastal, though)
Good luck! have fun! don't get caught!
Indeed it did help me out. I was waiting for some advice as to when to start them. I think I will just start them a month early, like you said, and put them outside in May.rightoh man im a seasoned i guess you could say outdoor grower, mixing your soil depends really i find, if it's really loose loamy soil you won't need any perlite for it just add your lama and sheep shit to that mix it up it will be goo for the year that way, and then feed a low nitrogen fertilizer through the veg time, cause with the shit in there your not gonna need a whole bunch of nitrogen additives, but i suggest buying bags of soil mix 1/3 black earth 1/3 mushroom compost if you can find it and 1/3 perlite and you will have a perfect plot or holes, personally i dig big holes for each plant, as for fertilizer i use yes the dreaded miracle grow tomato 20-20-20 for veg and when i start to see flowers i switch to 10-60-10 bloom, don't hate on miracle grow it works amazing for me outdoor, ...
Really? Miracle grow? I've heard horror stories about that stuff.
if you do some of these or follow it you will have huge plant, cause mine get really big nomatter the strain with these methods, and from where you live your grow season will start around may 24 or early june, so id start the seeds around february or march and and then put them outside if you want to get monsters but if not and you just want nice big plant's, get your seeds or clones ready bout a month before you put them in the ground, really hope this helped you out, good luck and good growing

Thanx, man! +rep for you, sir!
