Hello guys, my sativa is finally starting to strech like a beast. Is it normal to do some LSTing in week 3 of flowering? Or will that be too much stress?

Oh and is it better to water during lights out?

yes you can (adjusted my girl last night) Why it's called Low Stress Training

best to water when the lights first come on, this allows the top of soil to dry out before dark period and helps prevent mold

lst inflower can slow growth and decrease yield its also harder to do cuz the stiff branches its best to lst in veg and then give it some time to get through the stress, they bend much more in veg

There is very little stress with LST

trick is to move em a small bit at a time, after they respond move em some more, keep it up till ya get what ya want

Agree it is easier (not better) in veg

check my journal did not start LST untill 2nd week of flower and no growth slowing what so ever, also buds are looking good, don't think yeild is affected?

well its just IMO, ur grow looks pretty cool i like thet circuler floro. but if u train in veg u end up with more main gowing shoots as to doing it in flower it just lets light in on the smaller buds wich could have been colas if lst in veg but thats just how i do it not sayin your way is wrong cuz everyone has their own opioion and and way of doin stuff and it all usallt=y works for the better

Smokermore,
Found that if you just reach in around the branches and gently pull on the leaves just surrounding the flowers and just pull them out from around the stems and into the light. Might need to cut off a few leaves, to give the Flowers more access. Might take you a little while to get to all of them, top to bottom. Gently Memps gently!!! Good Luck!!

I am currently LST'ing while flowering. It helps me open the plants up to more light, which will improve yield. I also find that my plants respond well to the LST and grow stronger.

I know this isn't my post but this just answered my questions. Sounds definitely better than running out of space, just tied mine down. Thanks!
