Why does it take SOOOOO long to acquire your red card here in Colorado? I Sent in my Application on Sept 10th 2009 and it is now December 29th...still nothing. I eagerly check the mail every day hoping for a letter from Cherry Creek, I feel vunerable and unofficial without my Red Card...know what I'm saying? I actually had my application packet returned to me TWICE due to a couple minor discrepancies. On a similar note, my good buddy changed his caregiver so often that he got rejected (I warned him). I have changed my care one time, does this hold up the process? This place is a trip man, can't help butt scoff at most of these yahoo's opening dispensaries on a weekly basis, WESTWORD is gaining more and more pages of dispensary ads every week as welll, I'm sure you noticed. One thing I find odd is that most folks are claiming chronic pain as there excuse for a med-card, and for realz, I have truly never noticed any analgesic benefit from Cannabis in my 22 years of using herb *EXCEPTION* ( it is definitely EXCELLENT headache medicine ). All the while they don't prescribe it for some of the real ailments that it can truly manage, such as anxiety and insomnia...whats up with that? Now theres issues with dirtbag criminals targeting dispensaries for robbery....which does not surprise me at all, but it's fostering the general public s fears and discriminatory attitude towards the Colorado Medi-Herb Scene. It will be interesting to see what happens in the coming months, thats all I know for sure. One more thing, I will most definately be on probation next month or so, I drank and drove on Labor Day..(Stupid Fool) and got busted....You think I'm gonna have issues with my soon to be probation officer? I use THC to manage the discomfort I suffer from elevated eye pressure due to traumatic Glaucoma. Not to mention Ganja is my version of Xanax or Valuim or what you will....Thats one reason why I'm tripping on not having my Red card yet! Anyone know somebody on probation with a med card? Anyway, thats my 2 cents people...Lakewood Colorado in the house.

AND NOW............ I'm in a state with no medical laws. Terrible. Fuck.

I know the state is seriously backlogged with MMJ applications. I read in The Post that they are receiving over 600 new applications each day. A friend mailed in his application back in mid August and didn't get his actual card until the first week of December. The nice thing is that they put the expiration date as 11/30/2010 instead of mid-August.

Amendment 20 grants immunity to all authorized patients in Colorado. It doesn't matter if you're on probation. Let the probation officer know up front so he/she will know why you test dirty for MJ. Now this entire paragraph is BS if you're on probation with the federal government. lol

I don't think it will take long to get things like anxiety/insomnia added to the list since it's pretty obvious that a good indica will calm and relax like a SOB!

Yo Heatles... I switched from "Herbal wellness" to "Denver Relief", The folks at Herbal Wellness are good people, I just sensed a little greediness and superiority from them. $30 per clone? That's B.S.! Adam from Denver Relief grows the best Herb I have had EVER... and I grew up in Florida and California. (voted yay on prop 215 BTW) The Bio-Diesel from Denver Relief just took first place at the Harvest Cup. Truly a super-Bomb Hybrid! So Sugary (KIEFY) and pungently danky.... Plus those cats TREAT ME WITH RESPECT and Recognize my long time involvement with Cannabis Culture. I shop at "the grow store" on Colfax between Wads and Kipling, Fair prices and large selection. HGS on E_BAY is a good place for lights though.

It's funny you mentioned Amsterdam. My wife and I used to talk about taking a trip out there someday to sit in one of their coffeeshops and toke some killer sativa while sippin some bombass lattes. lol We don't need Amsterdam anymore! All we need is an espresso machine! haha!

We'd love to move from Aurora out to Estes Park and just grow. Make enough money so we don't have to work (except on our own crops) and live the good life. I think there are thousands of Coloradoans now with that same dream.

The horticulture grade "SuperHPS" lamps have an added small blue arc tube that accounts for the added lumens. I have run both and find the superHPS give better foliage growth will less elongation. If you have separate veg lighting or maybe another added source of blue spectrum (a daylight CFL for example) then the affects would likely be much less pronounced.

I'll run one of my 105 watt daylight CFLs with my HPS and hopefully that'll give me that added spectrum. Thanks for the info doog! +rep!

Would Anyone wanna swap Strains? We can trade clones as Registry card holders no worries right? I currently only have one strain...Millennium, which started as one $30 dollar clone, but I take cuttngs off this bad ass bush and they are superb clones of the highest order. I just want a heavy Indica strain to add to my Garden....The Millennium strain is dominantly Sativa, and they get HUGE QUICK! My growing Environment is sterile and pest free, and I know we can't order seeds from out of state so...

Whats shaking Coloradianites?! Up in the mountains on my 2nd grow. Foxfarm soil for 1st & 2nd with MH to HPS looking to start my perpetualessnesses TODAY. Thinking about heading all Aero. perhaps SOG Aero??? Anyone try this out here?

Ive been reading a little bit about humidity and the last 2 weeks of grow. One cat said he lets it get as low as possible to make the plant try to build up the trich's a bit more??? Our state is uber dry so I wondered if letting a plant go to the normal 16-20% humidity (at least for my area) for the last 2 weeks is too dry, assuming this works in general... What about temp drop for last 2 weeks? Ive heard 15 or more during normal times stresses them out, however I read 15-20 degree F drop at night for the last 2 weeks helps bring out some colors and build trich's fatty.

Have a few Purple Head knockin haze, originally from Peace and Medicine in Denver... I swear they are growing like WEEDS! Just like shit smells like SHIT!

Sorry Fellas, I Didn't realize that I was out of compliance with the forum guidelines. In hindsight, It occurs to me that I need to remain low key regardless of state law. Your right about Craigslist, But that seems like a another gray area regarding the law. How Do I ascend from "Stranger" Status BTW? lo l
