SO what would be an optimal plant for our arid climate one that thrives above all others...Chem dog now if only i knew where to get some chem dog bring it back to the great state it started in

im not sure i grow mostly indicas because i like the body numbing effect you get plus sativas can take too long to finish

Bulbs---Have tested the new sun-pulse bulbs out and have to say they work well. Cost more up front but save you tons in the long run. You can run the 3k's all the way throu flower with comparable results to the super eye, but when you finish the last 2 weeks of flower with the 10k's -the resin production,density, and terpins. shine!!!. You could also run your super eyes hps until the last 2 weeks then change to the 10k sun pulse for the finish. I'm not telling you to run out and throw down a ton of cash on new bulbs but some of you that might be interested should look further into it. After a couple of runs I would say the super eye/sun pulse combo works the best-----------hope that info helps...

By the way------I think CT in Colorado springs has True ChemDog clones. Last time I was there they had em plus tons of other clones----Over 50 I think. You should go there just to check out their mother/ clone room----Ultra-healthy to say the least. Tell them VonDank sent Ya...

any of you guys ever hear of bcuz stimulators by atami ? they are organic based and have been siting around since '02-'03 i need to know if they r still good and if they r good to use if they are still good shrubs i hear you r a organic guy maybe you could help me ? please lol

Basically like riddleme said: Open container of water works well. Or you can kill 2 birds with one stone. Alot of us folks have to use *gasp* tapwater, which is loaded with chloramine (chlorine is bad for plants, mmm kay?).

So what you do is fill up your 1 or 5 gallon jugs or buckets and let them sit for at least 24 hrs. The Chloramine disipates out of the water making it safer to water your plants with AND raises the humidity level. You really only want the VEG side to have higher humidity, NOT the flower side. Lower than 20% RH in flower side is fine, and helps prevent bud mold! :)

Before I get at what I want to share let me just WOO HO I never thought I'd like a judge but oh my what a big win for medical MJ today :weed:

Now on subject,,,,

As some of you know, I spend a l;ot of time lurking in regular garden foirums and tonight I was looking for info on mollases and stumbled on a mention of cornmeal (if ya want to read just google cornmeal soil) so I followed it and read for over an hour and came across this,,,,

On the cornmeal question, I've been mixing dry cornmeal, kelp, molassis and alfalfa togeher for years and using it on everything and I have had incredible results! In the fall, I dump some on the veggie and berry garden, flowers, whatever, and then dump some compost on top and let it sit until time to plant the spring garden. I'm telling you, it's the best kept secret in gardening. I think of it like giving the plants a B-12 shot each season, and healthy plants better resist disease and pests. Try it this season on a small section of the garden for an experiment. All of this stuff can be bought very cheaply at feed stores. The kelp is a bit pricy, but everything else is dirt cheap. I just love hearing about everyone's experiments!

Shrubs I'm learning organics

Now there was a lot of info and it was very interesting as these folks were experimenting (I like experimenting) but later in the thread the same guy said this,,,,,,

I haven't been very scientific with the measurements but it doesn't seem to matter. I have 4 x 8 foot raised beds in a large garden and I put a 1 lb. coffee can of each of those four ingredients in each row and mix it in. My original plan was to use the formula when I felt the garden needed it, but after growing fall and spring gardens year around, I decided to use it every year, applying in the fall. I'm applying the formula in a different way this year (experimenting!) On vacation in NM, I found an organic formula which has all of these natural products plus a lot more and the price is comparable. Apparently, it's a Northern product because I can't get it any closer to Texas than NM. If you're interested, go to www.espoma.com and check it out. Good luck!

and Danny thier soil is Enhanced with Myco-tone Mycorrhizae I know you have been using this.

I am thinkin that I will change to this soil for my next grow and give it a test drive.

Opinions???

Looks VERY cool! I will check it out as Murdochs and O'Tooles have it! :) Now...the real question isn't that they have been around for 80 years...but what do they charge? ;) rep+

Awesome news!! They've been having a really hard time finding a place since Greenwood Village went against dispensaries and they moved across the street to Centennial who shut them down. I hope this starts a ripple effect and all other cities/towns have to respect the law since so many are banning dispensaries.

You had my interest peaked before you even mentioned thy mycorrhizae. I'm gonna have to do some research of my own, and I'll do my best to share what I find here. But I wont really be able to experiment till I bring this crop in and get it cured, dried, & sold (approx 3 mo.)

Also, I got the 10 gallon containers tonight and a grinder for my drill to cut off the old pots. I'll be able to take pics of the bottom of the soil. I'll post whatever I find.

BTW, Fox Farm also uses mycorrhizae in their products. But after what I saw when I treated with MYKEs, I guarantee you that Fox Farm uses small percentages. Probably because you can't use this stuff in Hydro because it clogs lines.

If you run into anyone who gets clogged hydro lines from time to time, if they're using Fox Farm Ferts tell them to stop and the clogs will probably stop.
