you take away the wallpaper and put in a light lbue and yellow and attractive wallpaper and you don't have a badbass looking amchine there, you have some stupid laptop with red headlight things and sports car grill job things..

for me, less is more with a computes design, i like smooth subtle lines etc. i run in a silverstone TJ07B and it is a truly fantastic looking case, if slightly large (although i eed to buy a new 3 bay hdd caddy to house my christmas presents.)

haha, that's a good one. i have to admit, the only time i swear at my computer, which yes, i do :D is 1. when i open media player accidentally, and it just lcoks my computer down trying to process the library, or secodnly whenever i play something by EA Games, i tend to end up swearing at it :D

something that made me giggle a bit the other night while perusing ebay

this under a "COD MW2 Sniper Gaming Mouse"

"Braided cable for zero latency gameplay."

LOLSZZZZZZZ

hardcore selling points!

LOOOL

how would that improve it in any way??

the harddrive pluggged into the motherboard is the fastest solution you will have other than using an e-sata enclosure in which case you have wires, and in any case, would perform no faster than an internal harddrive. alternatively the harddrive would plug in via usb in which case you might as well not bother with a music library.

either way, it's not gonna be faster or more responsive.

Whether or not it is suited to your exact situation it would solve the problem.

A retard baby could tell you that it will without a doubt be faster and more responsive.

Internet access regularly exposes computers to potential security threats like Trojan horses, viruses and spyware. It has become increasingly difficult to guard against these threats, even when employing firewalls and antivirus programs. Aside from online threats, multiple family members often use the same system, putting sensitive documents at higher risk of inadvertent corruption or loss. Additionally, the space required for multimedia storage has soared with MP3s, streaming video, DVD burning, and photo files taking up large amounts of space on the harddrive. All of these unrelated concerns can be addressed with one simple answer: an external harddrive.

heres the link I got it from
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-an-external-hard-drive.htm

ain't trying to say I know shit about a pc, I did the same thing when I needed storage for nearly 1000 films and was trying to help you

well you completely ignored my post then. that's simply a description of why people buy external harddrives.... and a pretty bad descriptive reason at that.

even a retarded baby could tell you that.

i download a 1000 films, i'll whack em on a 1tb harddrive, like i have at the moment, and then buy another 1tb harddrive when that is full. they all stay in the pc, all in once place, away from accidents and whatnot, and nothing that goes in a pc short of a solid state solution will be faster for the OS to access short or giving my RAM a bit more bandwidth, but that is going to barely help.

whether my harddrive is inside the computer, or outside the computer, it doesn't make a difference in speed surprise surprise.
