Can Anyone Identify this problem/suggest a solution

Hi Everyone

Put a Crystal and Urban Poison into flower one week ago after been very healthy in veg state and now they are developing weird yellow / white spots on the leaves (on both plants) and its getting worse by the day. Photos enclosed. Some of the bottom leaves are also dying and overall the leaves are turning down it seems.

We are very new growers and have no ideal what could be causing this and/or what the solution is, although as mentioned its getting worse and we are afraid that we may be loosing the plants so any and all help is very much appreciated.

FYI they are been grown in an Organic Peat soil and just before putting them into flower they were given 1/8 of the recommended dose of fertilizer called 'Bloom Fertilizer' which is 8% nitrogen, 14% Phosphate and 9% Potash.

We are in South America and so limited Nut and Fertilizer wise by what we can buy at normal garden centers !

It's hard to tell under the HPS light, but it sounds like the beginning of Nitrogen deficiency. I would give it a little extra N, and see if it clears up. She appears to be a little overwatered, as well.

Thanks for the reply. Here are some new pics outside of the lights.

If it is Nitrogen deficient, how serious is that ????

Having just nuked two Blue Mystics with too much Nute I am keen (!!) to avoid making the same mistake again.

I have access to a fertilizer called NPK (15% of Nitrogen, Phosperous and Potassium) and would flush the plants with some of this. The suggested dosage is one desert spoon per litre of water - bearing in mind the Blue Mystic disaster I want to make sure that I dont over do it, so any help with suggested quantities OR another solution altogether, is greatly appreciated.

Seeing them now, I don't think it is Nitrogen def. - still think she looks overwatered, but something else is going on as well. I can't say for sure, and I don't want to guess, and make it worse if I'm wrong. Have you looked at the self diagnosis threads that are stickied in this section? I would recommend checking those out, and I'm sure another of our members with more experience diagnosing problems will be able to help you.

Thanks for the quick reply - I cant find anything like this so even if you're guessing at this stage it would be better than nothing.

Any other suggestions on how to get an answer - start a new thread ??

Allow me to clarify a small bit. I use GH nutes. Generally I add 1 part GH micro and 2 parts GH Bloom. My plants were/are yellowing badly on top leaves. This is very likely due to heat, but to try and remedy the situation I added more nutes (I am a noob)... What I added to compensate was GH Gro. GH Gro is 2-1-6, not high in P (N-P-K) as I said above. I should have been more thorough before I posted. Anyway, when I added the GH Gro I would get yellow, almost rust looking spots in random locations around the plant growth. Some yellow spots turned brown and small holes formed in some of the brown spots. I only saw the yellowing spots when I added the GH Gro so I suspect the high K in the solution was the culprit. I didn't overdo the GH Gro to bad and the spotting stoped and some tissue recovered. Took a week or more to see improvements without flushing.

I am new to hydro and growing. There are allot of people with problems that never get a reply. I want to help with what little experience I have.

But yeah youll get it after a couple more man. Takes time,

As we're in Uruguay all we have access to Nute. wise is what we can get from a normal Garden Centre, so basically we have two kinds:

'Bloom Fertilizer' which is 8% nitrogen, 14% Phosphate and 9% Potash for flowering and......

For Veg we have a fertilizer called NPK (15% of Nitrogen, Phosperous and Potassium)

Therefore I don't know anything about the ones you mention in your post.

Bearing this in mind, what would you suggest in terms or a solution ??
