Need advise about Flushing the Soil before haversting

Hey everyone,

so it is my first time growing and i have been doing alot of research on the different techniques and things to make the bud the best you can. I have run into a small problem though. I have been reading that you should flush the soil 2-3 weeks before the harvest to get the chemicals out of the soil because if you dont the bud will be real harsh to smoke. The problem i have is, (if you are supposed to do this) i used Dynamite slow release plant food for my nutes. (15-5-9, its all i could get at the time)

So my as you can see my problem is how am i supposed to flush the soil with the slow release granules in the soil?

This is probably a really noob move, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

you can transplant into regular dirt or ground soil 2-3 weeks before u plan to harvest.

i though of that, and looked into it but the little nute pebbles are all inside the root ball and im scared if i disturb it to much ill kill the plant so close to harvest time

Who cares if it's harsh man, it's your first grow. This is the way we learn things.

So did the plant food originally come in the soil or are you adding the food as you go? If adding how often are adding it?

They are little time release pebbles that are supposed to last for 9 months, i added a cap full a month after the plant sprouted in July, then added another 2 cap fulls when i trans planted it into the large pot that it is in now back in September or October. Haven't added any since.

I absolutely agree, worst comes to worse who cares, but im a perfectionist so i figured id try out all my options first, but u are absolutely right, im lucky i made it this far haha.

just water your plants with nothing but plain water for two weeks and that should be nice and flushed
