Mold? I dunno about that.. Maybe if you're storing it for years or something. I keep my smoke stash in a humidor between 50 & 60% humidity. I've had it in there up to a couple months and it's always fine. Never had any mold. Only downside I've found is a lot of the smell is sapped away from the bud. You'll smell it when you break it open, but just sitting there the smell diminishes.

If I'm long-term storing stuff I use mason jars and air them out regularly.

Good luck.

A humidor is a fantastic way to store your weed. Just make sure to have a hygrometer in it and keep an eye on your temperature and humidity. For longer-term storage though, you will want something airtight like the aforementioned mason jars or the clear plastic airtight storage containers that they sell at Wal-Mart.

Good point!!! I always store my stuff in a cool, dark location so being clear isn't bad. But You are absolutely correct that an opaque container would be even better!!

I hade an empty acid cigar box that still has the spice leaves they must use while they are curing. So I rolled a few joints, put them in the cigar box and basically forgot about them for awhile. We did smoke them and it was the best tasting shit ever. Acid Cigars by Drew Estates.
