How about state department or usaid people? Do they deserve to get blown up? Because they're most definitely meddling in the affairs of a foreign government...
This is a very sad incident and doesn't help anyone except the crazies who want to create chaos and make their own law. Anyone doing this kind of job understands the risks involved. In this incident they knowingly took risks and it ended up killing them. I for one am very grateful that these men were putting their lives on the line in afghanistan in order to protect america and I have all the sympathy in the world for their families and loved ones. These guys knew the risks involved in their job and there are legitimate questions about what we are doing over in 'af-pak', you're a pretty callous asshole with shit for brains if you think they 'got what they deserved'. Just my 2 cents.

I'm with you on this one med ... that's what they get for illegally occupying these countries ... when the US commits war crimes it pisses the people of those occupied countries off and I don't blame them.

cuz it sounds to me like he disagrees with american foreign policy, and has enough EMPATHY to understand that maybe some of the terrorists are ordinary people who're fed up with american foreign policy. it's absolutely possible, no?

Why not just go on over to Afghanistan, or Pakistan, or Yemen, or Iraq, or Iran? I agree with you on one point, there are some fucked up policies we're promoting. You just don't get it. I love my country. I just don't love the way our secret police, CIA, NSA, FBI etc go around the world and at home killing and torturing people for the corporations. I think most of those on the right really can't see this phenomenom. If they would open their eyes, they would realize I am a patriot and what I really want is for America to live up to it's potential and be the leader it should be. Imperialism only benefits the rich, it certainly does nothing for the commoner. Please tell me how making someone elses country "better" meaning opening it up to the corporations for trade, etc, will benefit me. I say those CIA pukes torture and kill Afghans and actually enjoy it. Those Mercs., be them private or our government employes are demented killers, paid killers. If we took all those idiots out of foriegn countries and stopped stirring shit all over the planet, maybe there would be a chance for peace. Seriously? How can you justify the targeting of civilians.........women and children? We don't do that. Some would like you to believe that we do but believe me, we don't. I think our foreign policy needs some adjusting but if we pulled out of afghanistan and the middle east altogether they will bring the war to us. If you want to worry if the mall you shop it is going to be bombed or the McDonalds you eat at is going to have a suicide bomber walk in and detonate himself then yeah, let's get out of the middle east. Actually it was our foriegn policy that started this, going back to the 1950s and further. We've tried to dominate the middle east for years. i just wonder why we are in those wars in the first place, if the INITIAL REASONS PROVIDED were proven FALSE, NO WMD's and no saddam/al quaeda link. Didn't Donald Rumsfeld declare that we would invade iraq a mere WEEK OR LESS after the 9/11 attacks?
If the reasons for being there are unjustified to ME as they should be to YOU, then I can see how they'd be unjustfied to ANY civilians whose families were killed in Iraq/Afghan/Pakistan, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT WE TARGETED THEM

I can't answer your question as to why they want us dead. Because we are infidels? They say that is because we have bases in Saudi Arabia and other "Muslim" land. We aren't dominating the world. Every base we have around the world is there because we have been invited by that country (with the exception of Iraq or Afghanistan). If those countries, not a few militant freaks, wanted us to leave we probably would. We have interests around the world and we protect those interests just like any other country does............we just happen to be the most powerful and most wealthy atm. You are trying to draw a parallel between Iraq and Afghanistan in order to prove your point.........clever. I'm not forcing my "empty rhetoric" on anybody. Just trying to tell it like I see it.
