Blotches and drooping, 1st timer, please help?

Hi there!
First time grower, hope someone can help! :confused:

-White widow seed from reputable source
- Using an LED grow light, not sure of brand name, but is just like the one in the attached pic (also attached pic of growing cabinet, taken a few weeks ago)
- I have organic iguana juice grow 3-1-3, only been using it at 1/2 strength
- Schultz Premium potting soil (only soil I could get during winter around here!?!)

A day and a half ago, all the leaves (except for the very first ones way at the bottom) seemed to be in good shape, uniform in color, and not droopy. Today, some are turning blotchy (attached pics) and have some powdery/crystal stuff on them (not sure if the camera picked it up very well)

I was hoping that someone could give me some guidance... New at this, but reeeeeeally hoping for a decent result!!

Oh, and does anyone think that my plant should be taller than it is? Seems like its getting crowded by its own leaves....

how long has your plant been growing? If you tell me this I can answer your heighth question. The blotches on the leave are nothing to worry about, sometimes it may have a slight deficiency to it but it shouldnt hurt it. are you using and nutrients???

I have "organic iguana juice grow 3-1-3", I've only been using it at 1/2 strength, because I've never done this before, and I didn't want to over do it... Do you need to know whats on the actual ingredients list?

Its been growing since around Nov.24

**Noticed today that her first leaves at the bottom are almost completely brown and dead.... Could this just be because they are getting shaded by the new growth?

Bigger pot I can do no problem.....

So no one has seen these crystal-ish things before?

Ive checked that thread, and none of the pics look like what I have going on with my little lady. Maybe the closest-looking one was the Boron deficiency... I don't want to start messing with different chemicals/nutirents because I dont want to accidentally kill her! I rather her yield a little less, than for her to DIE!

Ive seen conflicting posts about whether soil PH testers work, I do know our water is properly PH balanced.... Should that be enough?

I was hoping someone would say something simple like: "More nutrients" or "Less nutrients" or "Youre under-watering it"....
I just want her to live long and prosper LOL

yea im thinkin you might just need to airate your soil, my leaves look a bit like this when my plant wus root bound n wusnt gettn oxygen in the soil,moving to a bigger pot would take care of that. and actually it may be underwatered or fed like u were hoping for lol and as for it bein short and compact IMO thats a good thing, you will get real fat dense buds, and if it wus tall n stretched out you would get stretched out stringy buds.

pull off the leafs with the stuff on them. they are shading the bottom. secondly i would say the soil u have is crap( no offense). however thats most likly not the problem caz i know people that have used it before and got decent trees off it. i know that the nutrients u have also have other nurtrients to the series. i would suggest getting them all and using it that way. ur half assing the nutrients. next. i would say use full dose. its organic. i use bio-canna for soil and it works amazingly. check my signature. they are all growing beautifully. and i always use about 120% of what it says for nutrients. lastly those UFO lights are pretty tight, i havnt seen one in a good bit. they are pretty sick. but i would maybe suggest getting a light underneath ur baby once she gets bigger.

Ok so the consensus seems to be:

-Bigger pot
-MORE nurients (I'll gradually bump it up to full strength)
-Pull off a few of the lower leaves that are blocking light
-Add another light lower down

Any advice on a simple (hopefully cheap!) light I could put in that is safe to leave unattended during the work-day?

I was worried about over-doing it with the nutes, but I'll trust all you more experienced growers.

Any further suggestions will still be MOST appreciated! I'll post some new pics in a week or so, and hopefully they will be beautiful!

If you have soil with time release nutes already in it, and are adding more, its probably nute burn, not the lack of nutes. I'm not sure about the shultz soil, but most soils sold at home depot and stores like it, scotts soil, and miracle grow for example already have nutes in them.
I would discontinue the nutes, and make sure you aren't over watering. When you over water with a soil that has the time release nutes you can burn them as well. Get a cheap moisture meter, and just use plain water for the next couple of weeks. I think you'll be compounding your troubles if you add more nutes.
I have grown several plants, but am by no means an expert but thats my opinion. Looks over watered and over fertilized to me. Also make sure you have plenty of air flowing through your tent.
