Barney's Farm Violator Kush and Sour Diesel Grow

Sorry for the lack of updates...been busy.

They were harvested last Sunday...look at these beasts:

Waiting on final weight...it looks like its going to be close to 6 ounces dry. Tested out a very small popcorn nug that was dry and the high was very intense...can't wait till they are done drying.

I will post more pics once they are dry.

Sorry for the lack of updates. The final weight was about 5.5 oz dry and they are still curing. I am waiting for them to cure a bit more to give a good smoke report -- but from the initial "test" smoke the high was unique and "clean". Like I said I want to give a detailed report once they are cured.

BTW, my brother gave me a top for helping him out with this grow...it's also curing at the moment.

I just flushed My Violater Kush a few days ago and took a bottom nub off it to see where she's at and where she's going, well the smoke was kinda thick going down and a slight expansion in lungs, after a good exhale I had a lemon taste in my mouth. 2 hits later I was draging my feet a little. All this and she still has 2 weeks left, Nummers.

Here we are 3 weeks exactly into flowering. Plants look really good overall. I have trimmed these guys quite a bit trying to promote growth and more bud sites through the vegatative stage. Here we are though exactly 3 weeks into flowering and they are really starting to take off.

Nice VK. I have mine 4 weeks from harvest (avatar/signature) I have them 15-18" away from a 600hps and they are loving it. The trichs are POPin .
My kush takes normal amount of nutes, can't push high, what about yours?

You know I have actually been pushin them a little bit but I gradually krept it up and just started flushing routinely. They seem to be doing good. I am thinking maybe I should lower the light though if they are liking it that close. I am more like 25 inches from but they still have about 5 weeks to grow so. What do you think. I have been using Pura Vida organics Nutes and mix in the Green Fuse stimulator. I will be posting a weekly message with pics and even letting ya know what I got from harvest. How long did you veg them for. VK r suppose to be a somewhat short plant. I vegged mine for 5 weeks.

I veg mine from clone ummm 11-12 weeks I believe. Lets see took from mother 3 weeks before going 12/12 then 9 weeks more while mother was in 12/12 (65 days).
They where 3' in veg, droped them in 5 gallon and that brought the down to 2' then they got 5' again just before going 12/12 then they got 6'7" and 7 tops where 6-9" higher so I lsted them 3 weeks into 12/12.
I don't flush until the royal flush so thats why they are not likeing high nutes, but they love the SUN. Bring them closer start at 18 and when you get 5 weeks in bring it down to 15-16" you will have a pay off in TRICHS galore. This is my 4th run ov VK and this is the best set yet.
