I've got a few grows under my belt over the past year or so and I have not yet re veged plants so I have this question for you masters.
I understand you can trim your buds off a nice female and reveg, so how many times can you do it and if you do, wouldn't it make your turn over and prodution time quicker (not to mention eaiser) than cloning? And, the more you reveg, will you get more and more larger tops? How about changing grow medium and pots?
What's better? Reveg or clone?

clone. and take the clones before flower. as this will add to the stres of your stain and over time degrades the genetics ie: loss of potency, lacks in looks due to all the stress the revegging has put it through as well. the strain will lose integrity, vigour and even potency as the stress builds up in a lot of cases.
when taking a clone for breeding or something we must remember that the clones maintain the age of the mother plant. meaning if you were to be flowering your clones strait away we shoul wait until the mother has reached vegetative maturity and the plant is now read and mature enough to start flowering when the photoperiod suits.
this is the best way to do things but not necissary as we all know we can take a cutting earl on in life make it flower and sex it.. all im saying is this isnt healthy for the plants its kinda stressfull.
cloning itself is somewhat stressfull and you will have to keep maintaining new mothers as time goes on from other sucessfull cuts just to be safe. as i mentioned before the plants hold the maturity and genetics the longer they live and get cut and have to heal the more stress they go through sometimes causing clone stress which can result in fucked up cuttings, scared tissue and fucked up looking mothers. the best way to do this is clone at the right time and always use sterile equipment and do the cloning procedure as stress free as possible. if done correctly you can happyly keep some mothers/genetics alive for many many years.
i should also note that even if clone stress ocurrrs and the strain starts losing vigour etc that the genetics are exactly the same and can be used in a breeding project in most cases
selfing is an option but as a breeder you should always try to stay away from anything wiith hermaphorodite traits which may start to show depending. kinda like i dont agree with the lowrider and autoflowering genetics being introduced if they keep furthering into the gene pools of strains they could start doing fucked up shit in the future.... ruderalis are unstable shitty genetics... 9not as bad as ABC australian Bastard Cannabis but shit none the less)
sorry if this makes no sense its late and im medicated peace out
