I'm about to clone for my first time and I was wondering how much light they need?
was going to say the same things t5's work great for clones and moms.. either a two footer or a four footer.. you can get them from single bulbs all the way up to like 8 i think..I use floro's for clones, 24" - 48" long, depending on how many I have.
how many hours of light, would 18/6 work?
Thanks man, do you get a good take % with 24 hrs of light24hrs is what i use should be ready to replant in 2/3weeks, but they do like a few hours of darkness though, try 20 on and 4 off
word?... i always had the assumption that roots did most of their development in the dark part of the photo period?? not true? could this possibly strictly pertain to soil growing? You can clone 18/6 but 24hours of light seems to make them clone a little quicker
It's all about photosynthesis, which can only happen....while the lights are onword?... i always had the assumption that roots did most of their development in the dark part of the photo period?? not true? could this possibly strictly pertain to soil growing?
always take more cuttings than you need? put the cuttings in a shot glass of water for about a minute or so, this causes pressure in the stem which forces some water in to it then dip in a rooting/cloneing gel then put them in a rock cube or the like. try 24 hrs of light for the first week then 20 hrs of light the rest. Thanks man, do you get a good take % with 24 hrs of light
