yes , i forgot to say it but thats what i was getting to. i think IF anyone is gonna use pure promix then to get a synthetic food rather then organic.

if you are like me you dont want to throw away all the organic products so on the next one add EWC and or compost to the mix. For an immediate fix go buy some chems from walmart.
I just fed with chems yesterday so i will let u know the outcome.

Rep+. Another good alternative for keeping organic feeds from going N deff is to add some bloodmeal to your mix early on.

Ice is the strain I am growing. I have also noticed that the stalks and stems of the leaves have been really redish purple also.

i had the same problem i had my plants growing in the ground but it was just taking to long to flower so i dug them out of the ground transplanted into some potting soil the next day they were looking good than i switched to 12/12 and on 2nd of 12/12 every single leaf turned very dark green than the leaf tips shrivled i think my soil mix was too strong so i transplanted into some plain potting soil started to recover but leafs still look dark green not as good as when they were in the ground iv flushed for 1 week now and now im getting yellow leaves at the bottom not many tho so now im going to give them some veg nute tommorow and see how it goes..

Ice is the strain I am growing. I have also noticed that the stalks and stems of the leaves have been really redish purple also.

the purpleish is from the plants not growing like they should. the longer the stalks "sit there" without much growth, the more purple it gets, (same for older plants) after purple comes brown, not bad brown , just the brown u see on the bottom of stalks on older plants. how tall are they now? i know ice gets very tall if not tied down.

Nirvava's Ice that shit is junk. smokes pretty good but , no 2 seeds produced the same quanity, quality, or color. so it is just unstable. I have 5 strains and they are all havin the same probs EXCEPT Ice. it has problems of its own. the reason i am so dead set on ice being junk is because i gave a few clones to my buddy and he is havin problems with it too, and this guy never has probs.
I can get the ice to do VERY good for the first weeks of veg but if i keep vegging it dies (well not all the way dead because i dont let nothing die)
it does seem to perk up in flower (unlike the other strains) but only if i flower them right away (about 8-10")
my mothers of ice are forming flowers in 24/0, and i dont mean "low light cylacts" i mean strait formin buds, trichs an all.
i have tried everything BUT doubleing or tripling the nute mix, hell it might be a real heavy feeder?

i am not knockin the shit (yes i am) but with my buddy havin the same prob as me , i would say its the strain.

well two things , 1 i should have said I have to flower them right when they take root in cup. the ones i flowered at 3 or 4" turned out decent (and were very healthy through entire grow....that time)
They all went from 3or4" to 20or25" in flower cycle.
All of them had a very, very good leaf to flower ratio, 1 was very frosty colored with very small flowers and tasted alright with a good buzz. 2nd one had a very good look to it. nice and round nugs with super thick hairs , it was not as frosty but good enough (not for my preference though). it turned out a lot bigger then the 1st one, but again not big enough for me. it also had a good high but didnt taste "as good" and definatly not to my standards.(as u can see, taste is one of my thangs)
ok the 3rd one had alright size buds with the ugly "dread" thang goin on. (the flowers were not nice and round and sucked to trim) it also started to flower faster then the other ones but the yield was the same. this one had hardly any ammount of trichs whatsoever. it tasted like shit but had a good high like the others.
4th one i had a completely purple one with a ton of trichs but it also tasted decent but not at all what it looked like. low yielder
Thats why i say its unstable.

Now on to the second thing. I am huge taste freak. and i have been compareing this to alot of strains i grew that were just "local clones"
almost all of them tasted better then ice.
I have 2 other "local gani" strains and they yield way better , have alot more trichs, and taste WAY better then ice.
