regardless of how little you would yield is it possible to force a plant this small and immature to begin flowering by switching to 12/12?

sure it's possible, but I believe the consensus is that it wont start flowering until it is mature enough anyways. Search for 12/12 from seed and I'm sure you'll find out.

YES you can. I just started a 12/12 from seed grow to try out my new DWC that I built. It probly wont yield much but I am using it to fine tune the new system (and for fun) :bigjoint:.

...at any stage of MJ's life, you will induce flowering by altering the photoperiod to 12 -14 hours, depending on genetics, you do have the autoflowering which has it's own set of rules. Autoflowering MJ will flower under 24 hours of light .

Enjoy!

in the case of you sticking in a 3 inch plant to flowering, will this make the same characteritics as a plant regularly grown. Like the plant will grow alot more during the flowering, and within a week- 3 weeks double its size?? by no means a first time grower just ran by the thread and love learning new things

About 21 days after the flowering peroid begins, the vegatative stage including root growth, has ceased. And the plant as a whole starts flowering and only flowering until it is ready to harvest. Hope this helped.

This is an old thread but hey here's my input,in my experience indoor plants started 12/12 from seed will start to flower 14-28 days.
& lol @ chucky that wasn't nearly enough light to resume normal growth but we all gotta continue learning somehow whether books
or trial and error.
