Tiny buds covering plant, but don't look like much.

I am not sure the strain of this particular plant but it is very different than the others. It kind of looks like a sativa. It has been flowering for about as long as my other plants which are nearly ready for harvest, and it is covered with small buds that amount to hardly anything. The buds still weigh down all of the limbs and the plant has to be tied up all the way to the top. I look at the trichomes under the microscope and they are mostly all milky white. It seems like it will be mature soon by looking at the trichomes, but the buds look like they need to mature and grow into something fuller. They hardly look like the other buds, but they were def indica heavy strains. How much longer do some sativas take to finish flowering, and is there hope for this plants flowers to grow into something I can use? It is a beautiful plant though covered in crystals. Sorry I don't have pics to upload.

depending on temps and conditions sativas take 2+ weeks more.

im in the same boat, all switched at the same time. but the indicas are almost done, while my sativas are all young looking.

some south american strains have insane flowering times, they will fill out alot more trust me.

just keep an eye on the hairs, as long as most the hairs are white its still in new bud growth stage, when most of em turn red (80-90% its time to flush)

how many weeks has it been in flower?

It has been flowering about 12 weeks, the hairs have started to turn just a bit. I haven't been using honey or molasses. I have been using fox farms happy frog, humboldt oneness, and ginormous during flowering. I have also been using botanicals Sweet. There is nothing really there to smoke, it has tons of flowers that look like they may form into buds, but judging by the hairs and the trichomes it looks like it is going to have to form something in the next two weeks or its going to be overdone. I will try to get a picture a little later today.
