Is Diamond Nectar Bullshit?

The feeding chart I have does say to use Diamond Nectar but its not required, so why should I spend money on buying this product? Does it really make a difference?

Are you aware of what Diamond Nectar is? If not, I'll tell you. It's a refined fulvic/humic acid blend. It aids your plants in uptaking the nutrient solution's different elements. I recently posted a thread about this subject and why it would ever be the case that you wouldn't want to use such a product, but got no response. Hopefully and biochemist/botany expert will come along and answer my question. Getting useful information here is sometimes a hit and miss affair. I recommend using it as the company's instructions say. You'll need to look under GH's "expert" feeding chart though.

I just ask because it sounds to me like a load of crap that you need an additive to make the food easier to chew... why dont they add this to the flora series bottles instead of having a new bottle???

yeah i donno about that one..
maybe tho.. theres others out there..
i used that GH line and it worked out good..
good luck..

I use it. try expermenting with differnt plants. thats why i like growing in containers opose to a soil bed. Im going to see if differnt stuff works in the same enviorment. I mix it up alot so i dont know what works better i just wait and see the end product. and if its better than what people are selling these days then maybe that diamond nectar worked! Im trying kushie kush right now

Just another way to get the cash from the noob.
Mostly for hydroponic use. I use it tho cause it kinda cheap. Some people only use dry ferts and it cost them about a 100 bucks for a year or two. They still have good end product. But there is a differnts between A bud and triple A bud. Now see those guys with the single A grade think theirs is the same as the triple A because they have never smoked triple A. Im from BC and not to impressed with some of the nammer kush going around. I can always tell if a white guy grew it. The taste and how it burns. You know why? Because nammers do it all cheap with basic GH grow micro bloom and pro mix. They are to cheap to add the extra stuff to make it better. They just want production. See a white guy would do a 4x8 table with wormcastings, bat shit, oxycal, rare earth all mixed with a soilless mix. Then each table is fed with a three part light GH solution mixed with hydroboost diamond nectar, koolbloom, karboboost, topload, rhinoskin. Then fed in differnt week cycles.
Example: Week 1 would be 150mlgrow, 150mlcro, 150mlbloom, 150ml pureblend bloom, 4oz diamond nectar 1/2tablespoon of hydroboost and 1 tablespoon rhinoskin...
Example 2: Week 6&7... 300mlbloom,300mlPureblendbloom,1/4cup koolbloom, 2oz karboboost,8oz diamond nectar and 1tbsp of rhinoskin. then week 8 is flush

not trying to be a smart ass or anything. I do know why you have to buy so many different bottles of nutes. you would think they could just throw it all into one jug but they cant. Its for the same reason that you are not supposed to directly mix nutrients together without diluting with water first. I cant get all scientific and precise but it has to do catalysts. combining two different chemicals creates a new chemical. If i can find the link were i read this i will surely post it. I know it was in a magazine or something. and its way easier to understand then my version

Yeah, I wish they made a really good one part nutrient too. I have "Oneness" but it's not complete. They do say that it can be used for a whole cycle. But there is no calcium in it. And the equilibrium i ordered has been on back order for what two months now!

I'm seriously pissed that I have had equilibrium on backorder for months.

Pretty racist there Mr. Blonde hair blue eye.

You can't mix some nutrients together because some will bond with others, which of course is not desirable. As some one else mentioned, it would be great to have a one part liquid nutrient (e.g. Lucas Formula in one bottle), but can't for that reason...

just adding to to what you mentioned below me. :). Cheers!

diamond nectar works. good source of fulvic n humic acids. i've seen my plants grow foliage almost over night. i wouldnt waste ppms at wk6 or 7 on diamond nectar. i'd use it up to wk4 and push bloom booster sweetener up til flower.

diamond nectar great for vegging. i know the feed chart says use it all the way through flower but i rather be pushing with big bud

Diamond nectar is just watered down humid acid. You can purchase humic acid in a more concentrated and much, much cheaper form through an agricultural supplier. Humic acid is a wonderful way to get the most out of your fertilizers. It is highly recommended that you learn how to use it and then do. GH makes fine products but they are too expensive. Acidically...Prof.Snook

Also just a little thing to keep in mind when using organic products. Organics are not nutrients. They only work when growing with the soil food web. Meaning you need to have the correct aerobic bacteria and fungi existing in your soil. These products you are calling nutrient are things that are processed by the micro biology in your soil into readily available forms of the nutrients your plants need. If their is no living micro biology in your soil the nutrients remain locked up and not as readily available for your plant.
