Well i mean $15 worth of electricity, $15 worth of nutes, $200 for carbon filter and misc. items, and about 40-50 hours of my life. But totally worth every cent and minute.

Yeah but that's some purple homegrown. Around here I'd expect to pay $20 and eighth for something like that. 20 grams at $20 per is $400+ for all that. Even if you break even, at least it was your own grow and you're not paying some drug dealer for your weed. That's what I look forward to with my grow. I hate dealing with drug dealers. Oh my bad. I meant breaking even on how much a dealer would charge you vs how much the supplies/electricity cost. Now I can see why that was confusing. I was a little high when I wrote that. I am again but maybe this time it'll be better. HahaIf he sold it and broke even...............

yeah so after all of the bud was totally dry, i ended up with 17.5 g's (5 8ths exactly) which was good enough for me because it would have cost me about $250. After blazing 4 or 5 bowls of this bud, i was wrong about it being a sativa. It is a really dopey high, and it makes me really tired to blaze it. I almost don't like smoking it during the day because i get so tired and lazy. Good thing i picked it when i did or i might have over-done it. Anyways i will let the two big colas chill in my head-stash jar forever. I would rather save it to show all and brag of my first grow ever. The tiny buds will all get smoked up, but i still have about 6 or 7 grams of them so i am excited about that. Taste of the weed is really neutral. It tastes like weed, not super headie tasting or anything like that, but rather it just tastes like pretty good quality weed. In summary i guess i would rate the buds 8.0 out of 10. Neutral taste, Sticky, Not too smelly, Couch-lock high. And lot's of purple!!!

Niiiiiice. I've been looking for some good indica. I'd love to grow some of my own so hopefully I can get there someday.
Kudos on storing those big colas. There's no way I could/would do that. I'd probably take some really good photos and then smoke them. I'd be afraid they'd mold or someone would steal them or something along those lines and then I'd be super bummed. Got any pics of what they look like in the head-stash jar? Is it worth it?

I will get some more pictures up for sure as it cures more and more. They both are totally dry now, so I am not worried about mold. But they really kept those purple characteristics and look slightly more coated in crystals. Thanks for checking out the grow though, not bad for my first time.

Thanks man. Yeah the seeds came out of a bag of some pretty shitty weed. I usually smoke exotic quality weeds (like 60 an 8th), but these seeds came from some 30 and 8th stuff. I was so surprised that it turned out well because everyone on this site talks about genetics of a seed 24/7. I guess whoever grew that 30 an 8th shit that i got must have done a really bad job, because this was only my first grow and it turned out all purple and sticky. Thanks again for checkin it out

It coulda been from a mass grow. When people grow huge quantities, some get malnourished or harvested early or any number of things. Someone else who bought the same stuff could've had great shit and you could've gotten some off a bad/weak plant. It had the potential to be great (hence your good seeds) but it just wasn't.
