Ok so I'm getting two different answers here. Keep the light where it is or move it farther away?
move it back and forth thats how i do things..put it close half the day then move it back for the rest of the day..u tease it with the light then move it back and it reaches for the light

It's growing so slow. It's almost two weeks since its popped from the soil and from what other plants I have seen mine is growing uber slow.

try stepping the light up to the most watts you can find for a single bulb, like 42w or somthing, get it in a daylight spectrum 5k-65k...with out a fan blowing on the plant dont keep the bulb only a inch or two away give it like 4 inches or so,and water every 2-3 days, pretty much only when the soil is real dry just under the surface. also i recomend keeping your light cycle at 18/6,they need a little rest.goodluckk!

Alright I'm switching it to the 18/6 light schedule. I also bought some 2700k's and some 6500k's yesterday. It's under the 6500k's right now.

It looks good for now... Look into getting some 6500k CFL's... The plant will grow a lot faster with a few of the 6500's.... Good luck
This plant is now 2 weeks old and is still the same size as it is in the original picture. It's not getting taller, the leaves aren't getting bigger. It's under a 26w 6500k CFL.

Keep it on 24/0, switching to 18/6 is just gonna lower the amount of light the plant is getting, and in this sorta circumstance it isn't gonna benefit too much from it. So stick to 24/7.

The first week or two are the most un-exciting.

You need more light buddy, look for bulbs which have 'Cool white' on them, or something with 'cool' in it. The kelvin rating should be 6500K but if you can't see that on the bulb then just look for the term they use, Warm ..... is usually around 2700K and Cool ..... is usually around 6500K.

Switch over to 6500K and add around 3-4 bulbs, place them around the plant and you'll start to see rapid growth. Water around every 4-5 days, when you feel the top few inches of soil is starting to dry up then water a bit more, but if you water too much, your roots aren't gonna bother so much about looking for water, they'll just think they've already got it and not bother.

Also, temperature, what sort of figures is that hitting?

Anymore advice just drop me a line in a Private message, i miss these from time to time so i might not reply but message me :)

I'm starting to wonder if this plant is dead. It is STILL the same size as it was in the first post. The leaves are still curled. It has 3 26w CFL 6500k bulbs about 4 inches or above and surrounding the plant.
