Big bloom conflict

On the botttle of Fox Farms Big Bloom I have it says to use "every watering 4 tbls per gallon." The watering schedule for soil at fox farms online shows 2 tbs/gal until after 4 weeks of 18 hr light then 1tbs/gal...
I'm being rather cautious as I am fairly new and starting my latest 3 week seedlings on 1/4 strength based on 2 tbs/gallon. So how much do you advise? Soil. Fox farms big bloom (grow big and tiger bloom also). Fairly new grower. I used schultz and superthrive before. What do you use Fox Farms at? Thanks.

I too have all the ff line up of concentrates. The back of the bottle is crazy! they like want people to nuke their children. Stick with quarter strength or so per gallon and if you are foliar feeding with spray bottles at all as well. The printable/ pocket schedule is a better usage rate, still steep in the beginning but works well. I love fox farm. As anything, start low and wean them into maybe 2 per gal or so. I was shocked when I saw 4 on the back of the bottle as well. Hope this helps a little

Big Bloom is basically a very weak, liquefied all organic fert. The FF feed schedule reccomends you use 2 TBSP/Gal during veg along with Grow Big. It changes for flowering and reccomends 1 TBSP/Gal along with Tiger Bloom and the solubles. I don't reccomend using Big Bloom as a stand alone fert as it would get very expensive pretty quickly and there are many better and cheaper organic ferts available. ;-)

If you go to FF website it explains Big Bloom and its intended use. Here's a link to Fox Farm's FAQ page on their website:

Actually I have the full line and plan to use them. It is only big bloom that has the conflicting usage charts (I think) and the kds are still about 2 weeks from starting the grow big as well.

So, overall on each, 1/4 strength and work up to half or so watching for burn issues all the way and only add nutes every other watering. Sound right?

That sounds good. The Big Bloom is weak enought that you aren't going to burn anything if you use too much of it. :bigjoint:

big bloom can be used almost a ful strength every other watering but tiger bloom is hardcore start that at 1/4 or 1/3 strength
