crusty leaves?

alright so its about three and a half months, i water about every week with purified water, no nutes, i dont have a ph meter, using organic soil, and two fluorescents bulbs for light







this is what is starting to happen to my leaves from the bottom up slowly, they are kind of crusty. its in a homemade grow box, but i dont think is has that good of ventalation do you think that could be the problem??

Hey, you say that plant is 3 Months old? are you sure? it is hard to say what the problem is, and i am No Expert in any way, but that plant should have fresh air, in the grow box you should set up an intake and exhaust from maybe small pc fans? also are you only using fluors as lighting?

well every day i move the box and have a little fan giving it fresh air for about an hour, and yes only fluors.

Needs more than that my friend. Why dont you check out my grow box to get an idea, its below my post. A plant needs fresh air to grow. You want to simulate the outdoor conditions a plant usually needs, like light, air food ect.... Are you running the lights 24/7? I would not be worried about that lil bit of crusting on the leaves, i would be more worried about air and lighting right now, how far away are your lights kept? give us more info on the setup so we can try and help you out.

...looks like you need fertlizer, like Closetgrowth suggested....since your in organic soil here's my suggestions:

Make an organic tea to replinish the soil. Get some reverse osmosis filtered water (ro doesn't need ph balanced w/ organics), place a bubble stone in the water w/ guano, worm castings, kelp( liquid seaweed ), and maybe some molasses in bloom...let this bubble for 24-48 hours then lightly feed by adding 2-3 cups of this tea into a gallon of new ro water...and simply water it in. You'll also need cal/mag occasionally, or you could just use ph balanced tap that contains a nice ppm of trace elements.

well when it was smaller it had a steching accident so really the plant is like 15 inches tall. i had to transplant it to a bigger pot and add more soil to get it to stand upright cause it was really delicate, one light is about 4 inches away from the top but its kind of hot so i dont want to move it closer. and the other light is a long bulb so it is next to the plant about an inch away but its much cooler
