You're never gonna get an answer out of Illegal for this one. He/She can't answer it. All IS does is spit back talking points.

"Liberals are afraid of teh Palin!"
"FOX NEWS is number ONE!!1!"
"Bill OReilly is my hero!"
"all your base are belong to us!!1"

....

yeah yeah IS, we've heard it all, and we're all still waiting for you to explain what we're so scared of.

I think abe outlined it pretty well, the one and only thing in this context that bothers me is it illustrates exactly how far we've fallen as a country. To have some retarded bitch at the front of the republican party is embarrassing to say the least.

But keep ignoring posts, keep thinking she's gonna "tell it like it is GIRL!"... all the rest of us can do is roll our eyes and keep sharp objects away from your play pin.

I've explained it over and over. You aren't asking for an explanation, you're asking to be persuaded. No-one can do that. Get back to me in Nov and we'll discuss whether or not there was anything to fear from Palin. ;-)

Because if any dem's lose their ticket for re-election, it MUST have been because of Palin right?

See, you're already setting the plans up and then when a lot of dem's lose their asses (like we both know they will because that's how the system works) you're going to automatically attribute it to "Palins tough talk". How stupid is that? You're going to use that to reenforce your stupidity then do some happy dance because you think you're right.

With or without the bitch, plenty of dem's are going to lose their seat, so how can you justifiably attribute that to Palin? Explain that one to me.

This is like arguing about who will win the super bowl. I think she is going to wipe the floor with Obama, Pelosi and Reid, but we'll have to play the game for it to be any more than talk. Meanwhile though, keep talking about it, America!

Fear of Palin! Fear of Palin!

Don't you mean the people writing her scripts and telling her what to say will wipe the floor with Obama, Pelosi, and Reid?

Palin is a formidable force to be reckoned with for years to come. The shrill hysteria emanating from the left is simply a means by which to avoid any interaction with her political ideas, if they can successfully label her as a dim bulb they will defuse her. So far it seems to be backfiring. Her popularity is increasing. She has galvanized and invigorated the right wing more than anyone in a generation or two.
If the Repubs prevail this coming November it will largely be do to her ability to inspire and motivate voters to actually vote.
She is feared and loathed because she represents the potential demise of the sputtering progressive movement.
With Obama's obstinate refusal to moderate many of his far left notions, and Palin's ability to speak directly to and excite the right wing as well as many more right leaning to moderate independents...it could be curtains for her political adversaries.
This is a really fascinating turn of events!!!

It is facinating and the liberals here don't want to talk about that. Palin has already weathered everything that they can throw at her. As long as she's not a candidate, she is pretty much immune. That's why the attacks are getting so shrill - they aren't working.

I think she will not be a candidate. If she were, and lost, she would quickly fade from memory. But if she grows her base (she is already more popular than Pelosi or Reid and closing in on Obama) and becomes a media figure, she will make millions over years. Paradoxically, the more she is attacked, the more she will be in the news - for being attacked and fighting back. She may become a female Rush of TV.

Reid's not going to win his seat again. There were a ton of people upset with him when he got voted in last time. They've been protesting his policies for years in NV. The polls show he is in the low 40's already. No reasonable person thinks Reid is going to pick up his seat again.

Also - Scott Brown is really picking up A LOT of steam in Massachussetes. Of course the Dems promise that they won't seat him until AFTER the Healthcare bill is voted on because he won't support it. But if that happens, I think the Dems are going to see a huge revolt on their hands from the people.

All you conservative-haters out there need to remember that as Brown said, these seats belong to the people! Not to the Kennedy's, not to the Democrats, to the people - and they're already making their voices loud enough to be heard by alot of Democrats who would rather keep their jobs, then keep Obama.

Based on your query, I will assume that you are not paying much attention to the political landscape...Palin is Reaganesque in her political ideas...smaller government,
common sense, personal responsibility, lower taxes, free markets etc. and so forth!

But of course, you most likely think Reagan was a gibbering idiot also!

You need to read more carefully. I have not used the word "interview" in this thread. I don't know why you are talking to me about it.

hannity the day before yesterday, or the day before, some day this week, ended with an exchange on legalization of marijuana.

the conservative bitch obviously had all of her 'facts' screwed, geraldo was for legalizing, hannity was not as conservative about this as i would've expected. he did maintain his posture against it, but his arguments were a little ... um... misleading....

Hannity said: "i know a friend who's kid smoked pot, then started acting out and getting in other trouble"

my msg to him is:

that kid was acting out, smoking pot, and getting into trouble because he's got other issues he needs to deal with.

his smoking pot didn't start the domino effect of getting into trouble and having issues.

that's it...

It is obvious from this forum that just as many conservatives smoke weed as liberals.

Reagan? Are you kidding me? You do realize he is the reason we are living underground growing out of our closets? Fear of being locked away more than an actually criminal for growing herb.
