Question about seedlings

Hey everyone, I have been lurking around here reading posts for a while but just now attempted my first grow. Germed seeds fine most sprouted I'm just concerned about how they look and some that were healthy days ago are now drooping and dieing off. I've read the book Marijuana Grow Basics by Jorge Cervantes and it shows a picture of seedlings with purple stems like mine that says they are underwatered. I used a moisture meter and checked that the soil was moist so I don't think thats the problem.

Please just let me know if they look normal or if I could be doing something wrong.

Also if it makes a difference the seeds are Nirvana Bubblelicious, Blue Mystic, and some mystery seeds I have named "Bruce Lee" for their explosive growth.

yeah i would have to agree they look pretty good to me...Almost all of my seedlings at 1 point or another had purple stems i always just thought it was natural...good luck bro...

Nothing wrong with them babies my friend, looking good and healthy.

The purple stem thing I have seen some things on but not a lot. Some will say its a strain specific thing, others a heat thing, even what kind of lighting has been given as a reason. But from personal experience I have not noticed a bit of difference in the quality of bud or growth between a plant that has had stems turn purple to ones that havn't, and I have two plants from the same strain and growing side by side in exactly the same environment one had stems turn purple and the other didn't, both turned out the same quality smoke. So I realy wouldn't worry bout the stems.

I think the rockwool is still wet enought, Just today had a seedling that was wilted and died.

took it out from the others and gave the rockwool a squeeze to see if my meter was reading right. there was at least an ounce of water if i had to guess that came out. i was worried about that too but the rockwool can be very deceiving.

And thanks everyone for their helpful eye. You guys put my mind at ease.
