so glad i stopped growing when i did. checc my journal for why i did. im super paranoid now..

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Law enforcement agencies from across the state made a large drug bust early Thursday morning in Richland County.

Bricks of Marijuana lined the walls and filled the closets. In the kitchen, a kilo of cocaine rode the lazy Susan.

In another room, garbage bags stuffed with what SLED calls high-grade marijuana. It was all found near Monticello Road in Richland County.

"This is some of the best marijuana I've ever seen," said SLED Capt. Roger Heaton. "It's big buds, it's sticky."

In all, there was 2,000 pounds of pot, a kilo of cocaine and an untold amount of cash.

"We gotta weigh the dope and the cash, but I'll tell you how much it is," commented SLED Chief Reggie Lloyd. "It's a boatload."

It all started with a traffic stop in Greenville Wednesday. In the car, police found $14,000 in cash and 40 pounds of marijuana.

They say that arrest led them to Richland County and 23-year-old Celso Soriano Vasquez.

"This is not 'grown in your windowsill' stuff, this is high grade marijuana and what we've already ascertained wants us to look beyond the borders of Richland County And South Carolina," said Lloyd.

"When we talk about the Mexican drug war, it's impacting us here every single day," said Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott. "Every day we feel the effects from it, and this is a great example of it right here."

Authorities raided two other houses in connection with the first bust. That's where they found the money. They say the total will be somewhere in the 6 figures.

SLED agents called Thursday the fun day -- they got the drugs, money and now two suspects. Now they need to find out how the drugs got here, where they were going and who ran the show




needless to say.. if it were legal we wouldnt have this issue

Pretty sure the police could give a fuck about your couple of plants. 2000 pounds of brick pack shit @ $40 an ounce is still $1,280,000 and that is the prime motivation right there. People who are into "pot culture" are generally not moving that kind of weight and those that do also tend to be involved in other illegal activities.

Almost all cops realize that the adult with 4 plants in his closet is not hurting anyone, it is the guys moving massive weight that cause problems.

i wasnt worried about them coming to me.. i was more worried about my wifes paranoia..police already been here and i shut down since.i had more than for plants. and he reef they had was no $40 an ounce mexi shyt. yes its outdoor.. but it ain no mexico. and in sc .. cops care about it all

obviously the cop knows his weed (im definately quoting this its hilkarious)and it just proves that they wouldnt be out looking to bust you. Im sure if you slipped up theyd be happy to come bust you, but even the statement "this isnt windowsill stuff here" shows that he isnt out to bust personal smokers. Thats the kind of thing theyre looking for lbs cocaine and most importantly cold hard CASH. Where do you think all that $ goes they dontg auction it oiff with the rest of their possessions. Anyways looks like your gonna need to grow or stop smokin weed lol.

they aint buy cars or nothin 1 speaks english one tries. yard looked like your average yard. crazy.. i ride pass atleast once a day n today i just rolled by like "damn" .. wonder if they forgot a pound or two

waddup cuz? im over here in the other side of the state but i feel ur pain dog! They juss busted peoples wit 300 plants in my county and i myself was the vitctim of a snitch last year. I had 4 plants like my closet like ya fools was sayin, one beautiful white widow, one afghan kush x skunk, one road runner, and a bag seed i nick names "Carolina Donkey Sick" cuz it grew one huge main cola. Like someone mentioned here, what them boys lookin for is the bricks, the k's, the cash, and the guns. So if u growin for personal use, ur takin a risk; but is not somethang that should keep u from sleepin at night. But make sure u still follow the #1 rull every grower should follow. KEEP YOUR GARDEN A SECRET!. Even ur best friends will snith on u if they find themselfs in a bound n need a easy way out. So make sure u still take every precausion u can, and dont be afraid to chop em down if u think it gets hot. I myself cut 2 gurls down a few weeks ago wen they busted that 300 plants.

i feel u, i wasent talkin bout ur friends in particular lol, its juss somethang everybody should know if their gonna make the decision to break the law. Your takin a risk, there could be consequences. But you can minimize them both if you are smart and take precaution

I was just using that as a baseline, at the cheapest it would be $1,000,000+.
