Closetbud's Grow Closet is Finished!! Pics!!

Ok, so I finnally finished my grow closet! It's based on 2 rooms, Veg and flower.
In the veg room, i have 3 intake fans(computer fans) and an exhaust fan. The room is made inside of a giant container and the inside is lined with reflective insulator to keep a more constant temperature and to give the plants more light. There is a 40 watt clf bulb attached to the roof of the box for early life of the plants(one week). There is also a 1000 watt Metal Halide that i just picked up and is just above the veg box. When the plants are a week ond, or have their first set of fan leaves i will take off the cover and set the Metal Halide on to 18/6 light cycle.
The Flower room is also lined with reflective insulator and the light source is a 400 watt High Pressure Sodium bulb. The light cycle is set to 12/12 always. since i live in a colder climate area, i set the light cycle to start at 7:00 P.M. and go until 7:00 A.M. There is a fan that is always on in the room, and there is a humidifier on a timer that turns on half-way though the plants light cycle and is on for 2 hours. It starts at 12 midnight and runs until 2:00 A.M. I just put some little reflective covers over 2 of the pots to try to increse the light to the lower buds on the plants. At or around 1:00 A.M. i go in there and spray all the plants down and water them. I just added the humidifier 3 days ago and it is working great. before i had it, my temps were in the high 90's and the humidity was 16%. now my temp averages at about 85 degrees in the light cycle and the humidity is around 30%

I am not curently using any nutrients, but i will see how they turn out.

Please comment on whatever or sugest different Ideas.

lol no. those plants that i showed u have only been on that light for a few weeks because they were under a cfl for weeeks. the 1000 w wasnt even used yet i just bought it. and those seeds were from bag seeds...

good job.. all you need is some more space and your own place were you can plant want ever you want a grow how ever big you want and you'll be set..

thanks. and thats exactly what i cant wait for. When i get my own place im gonna start hydroponics systems and make huge grow rooms. and never worry about getting caught

Not bad for throwing stuff together, but I have to ask something. I know not all colleges do, but does the one you plan to attend require you to live on campus your first year? If so, I'd think twice about growing. Most colleges barely tolerate smoking the stuff, let alone growing (they would see this as intent to distribute, no matter what you say).

If you're not living on campus next year, my best advice is this (and I rarely cuss in posts, but I feel this post needs one): KEEP YOUR FUCKIN' MOUTH SHUT ABOUT YOUR GROW. Show no one. Tell no one. If you think for one millisecond that a friend won't "accidentally" mention the grow you show him to another friend in passing, and so on and so forth, you are highly mistaken. Before you know it, you'll have people lining up to your front door to buy your product, and while enticing, this is far from a good thing. Traffic = 5/0 and Flashing Lights = Goodbye college.

In addition, rentals are not the ideal option for growing. I'm not saying that you can't...far from it, in fact, as my next one will be in my apartment. But rentals, especially apartments in complexes, or duplexes, generally have people snooping around a lot more than you might think. Put it this way...while I have my OWN rooms in my shared basement (I live in a duplex), my neighbors STILL go in them, unannounced, even though they know there's nothing in there that concerns them in the least -- no water heaters, no furnaces, no laundry machines, nothing. So remember this: Just because people don't have a reason to go into a room doesn't mean that they won't try.

I'm not trying to piss in your Cheerios, because I'm all about fighting the man. But be smart. College is pretty much the last place you want to try to grow. My suggestion would be to do small personal grows and focus on your education, THEN spend money (which you could make with your new job that you got because you had a college degree!) on a bigger setup. Just my 2 cents' worth. Feel free to rebuke anything I've said. Cheers, mate.

thanks man. i was thinking the same thing really.... im going to keep my mouth shut. i only talk to one person about it, and he will never tell anyone, i can promise it on my life. hes had experience with both growing and selling, so that aspect is good. also, i dont think im going to gow in my first year, but rather when i get an appartment out there or somthin.. so my sophomore year i will be good to go, but while im away, i will still be growin.. just from a good ole buddies house....:bigjoint:
