So this is my first hydro grow. I grew two plants for just fun before to see how they grow and now this is my first serious grow.
So far i Think it is pretty good. I did two deep water culture tubs with two twelve inch air stones in each tub. 4 plants in each tub(8 plants total) and i used a local grow shops nutes. one four hundred and thirty what ballast and bulb in a 4X4 foot grow tent. The strain is Kaya Gold.
I cant believe how big some of the leaves are! Some of the lower fans were spanning ten inches. the root structure is amazing. each set of two plants per tub has grown into a mass clump that consumes about a quarter of the tub. its rather interesting to view how the root structure develops with roots that search for water with feelers and those that adapt to absorb in areas where water is always present! thanks to all those that journal there info. any guess to how much i will get? this strain is supposed to have a pretty decent yeild.
