What do you do when you accidentally "break" one of your plants?

Well i was in my vegging cabinet fixing up a few things and the curtain that covers it accidentally fell down clattering the light and knocking the weights off it and one of them fell right ontop of one of my girls and snapped the top off her...

Im too ashamed to show any pics... but im gutted too

Ive delicately wrapped a little piece of sellotape round the stem where the break is and she is sitting upright again

Anyone else accidentally damaged their plants and whats the likelihood it will survive?

i had a fan tip over and broke a branch off about 2 weeks ago. i just trimmed it up dipped in rooting compound and put it in a cup of water with an airstone. The plant healed fine. Would be just like topping your plant clip and and try to root it.

Gardener's tape works best, but people have used cellotape, duct tape, and even twist ties to prop the plant back up. It will heal and be just fine, unless you actually broke off a branch. In that case, just clone it, or pitch it. Basically if you taped it back up and the plant was, and stays, healthy, you should be just fine.
