life cycle for white widow

I read where WW likes no veg time at all, go from clone or seedling straight to flower...depends upon light source and grow space I guess...

I grow a fair amount of WW. I pretty much always start with clones so from a rooted clone it takes about 4 weeks of veg and 6 weeks of flowering. This is indoors under HID lights with optimum grow conditions. Typically one of my plants will grow to around 60" in height and yield around 4-6 ounces of bud.

What is the life cycle for a white widow plant from seedling?
I am wondering the same thing. This is my first WW grow. They have been in flower for a month and the plants are still growing like crazy, they are budding but to me it seems like the plant is still growing faster than the buds. The buds just started developing trichs. In order for it finish in the typical 8 week flower time, it seems to me that they better kick it into overdrive real soon. Is this typical for this strain? Will it take off and really start producing the bud at a faster pace soon? If I go by what it has done in the last 4 weeks, it is going to take longer than the 8 weeks typical.

Whats the minimum veging time before I can induce flowering without harming the white widow
I read somewhere that 3 weeks of vegging followed by 5weeks of flowering could be sufficient
But if that is so
How much would that affect the yield?

ok digging up a VERY old thread....but what is the general idea in 2010 and not 4 years ago.
I lol'd when I saw some of the responses to this thread. 5 weeks flowering for WW????????????? I have a sativa pheno of WW and it takes a good 9-10 weeks of flowering to get it the way I like it. I would say that even the few indica phenos I had liked no less than 8 weeks and actually got a little bit better at 9 weeks flowering. Here is a pic of one of my indica phenos at about 10 1/2 weeks.:weed:

Id give it veg time. Its a hybrid that can take 9-11 weeks to finish flowering. Flower it at about 18-24 inches and it will be a 4-5 foot plant

It also depends on when you start counting as your flower time. Some people go from the day they switch to 12-12. Id start it a week or 2 after that, when flowers start showing. Just be patient. If its a good white widow strain they also reveg very easy. Come back bushier then ever the next go around. Id say only problem ive seen is bud rot outdoors, but i think it was just bad luck that season

Also 8 week is almost a bare minimum for any strain. You almost want to always go at least 9-10 weeks. WW is a hybrid, so id expect 9-11 weeks anyways.
