Really? I always thought and read that Adjusting waters PH was very important. All the plants are looking good, but yes, there is a bit of yellowing. You need to increase your N.
Adjusting the water's pH is a waste of time. Don't worry about it.
Good luck,
UB
Yes, you keep on reading that stuff around here, doesn't mean it's so, just means folks like to talk about stuff they know nothing about. Soil is a powerful buffer, do an experiment. Unless your tap water is out of wack, say.....5.0 or 9.0, it can be used without any adjustment. The pH chatter has no merit except in hydro.Really? Exactly how and what are you measuring, and with what instrument?I've noticed with the nutrients i'm using right now they always have a very low PH reading always at around 3 or so, so I find myself adding quite a bit a PH up.
Do you mind explaining to me why I shouldn't bother, I need to know now.

Yea it reads at being in the red level which is 3ish so I just go by what the chart says.Well, I was using the exact same kit for a moment there. I bought a pH pen and things have been going a lot smoother. Those kits are not that accurate really. I was wondering why you say your pH is at like 3 when you nute up. We have the same nutes, and I also use RO water...my pH comes out to about 5.2 - 5.3 after adding nutes. BTW, R/O should be a pH of like 6.8 - 7.0...so that should give you an idea of how off your kit is.
Good thing UncleBen is right about soil being a great buffer huh? Your plants have been growing just fine. If it were me I'd be SOL...I'm in CoCo...so pH is a big factor for me.
If you buy one, do not buy a Milwaukee one. They only give you a 30 day warranty on their economy models. Hanna gives 6 months on their economy models. I wouldnt buy a economy model though from either one. My milwaukee one went kaput after 40 days, and pretty much the same amount of time for my Hanna one.Yea it reads at being in the red level which is 3ish so I just go by what the chart says.
I need to save me the trouble and buy a PH meter on ebay.
I'll keep that in mind.If you buy one, do not buy a Milwaukee one. They only give you a 30 day warranty on their economy models. Hanna gives 6 months on their economy models. That one is nice, shit I might end up getting that one. Thanks for that link StatikI personally use this one:

I have not had any issues with it at all. It can use just about any pH buffer solution too, which is nice. As long as the solution is 4.0, 7.0, or 10.0 this thing will recognize it and buffer without a hitch. I really wanted the 2 model, cause there is no need to worry about the temps of what you are testing. Still, haven't had a problem with it. $60 well spent I'd say.
No problem man. I am kind of partial to that website, the guys who run it are kind of friends of mine. Ya know, spend a few grand in someones store..they tend to like you. Odd I know. That one is nice, shit I might end up getting that one. Thanks for that link Statik

So I do them a favor and drop their link here and there where appropriate...even if I doubt people are going to buy anything. I'm kind of a web geek...SEO benefits and all from linking back to an inner page of their site from another decent PR site.
