Ok so, i dont have any pics, eventually ill get a camera, but today i went out and got 3 100w replacement CFLS and i have a t8 daylight fixture as well. i also mylared the entire inside of the cabinet im growing in....i have 2 plants currently under these new lights....main point, do i need more cfls, or should i be good? If i need more....perhaps someone can give me a good setup for a 2.5ft x 2.5ft x 1.5ft cabinet using cfls...

Id scrap the foil and go for white paint. Its more reflective without hot spots. Also, you got 100 watt incandescent equivlant CFL bubls. They are prob 23-26 watts really.

as far as the foil goes, i revamped it with mylar, i got 6 25w 2700k bulbs and 2 daylight ones...dunno the temp its not on the bulbs.....heres a pic tho

The color temp should be on the ballast of the bulb where it has the wattage, volt rating, etc...you can eyeball it. If its blueish its veg, if its yellowish, its flower.

Your box looks good for now, but it may not be big enough in a few weeks.

sorry for the quote but how are your lights hung are they fastened to the top of your box and if they are you shoud research Lst and scrog and see which you want to go with or both looks pretty good man keep it up and keep the faith

also do you have fans a small wall mart oscilating (rotating) fan will work also you should buy some dry acticve yeast it's like 4 for a dollar or somthing like that, get a two liter bottle and follow the do it yourself co2 instructions you can find on this sight here are a few pics of my first grow.

my first grow was similar dimensions as yours my signature shows what i have going on right now it's a better setup than the first one more room to work with and and white paint instead of tin foil, but tinfoil will work as long as you're careful when applying as to make sure it stays flat and doesn't crinkle. keep us posted subscribed!

yeah its still a work in progress, i just germed some seeds one day, then just been going along as it does.....definately not a good approach, but the new light setup is a drastic change as to what it was originally getting so hopefully "some" improvements will come through

yeah i made a post about the ottlite 25w wondering what the color temp was, but as u said, blueish for veg....thye're blueish. but i only got 2 in there.....and also the 6 25w 2700k
im hoping to just let these ladies get finished, then start with a small strain with LST and perhaps 1week veg then, 12/12 ......dunno tho, is it the ruderalis strain i think thats small? cant member...

Ruderalis is a mall strain. It comes from russia and is also known as ditch weed. Shit you wouldnt pay $10 for an ounce. But, because its an autoflower, it has been bred with high THC producing plants to creat a small plant that autoflowers after something like 60 days and is smokeable.

Remember, for veg you want mostly blue, for flower you want mostly red.

co2 thread found, will be doing that today hopefully, also i got 2 fans.....i have them wired and all. one is a pretty small computer fan, had it first for just moving around air, but now i have one thats about 3x's that size........5-6 inches??? which fan would u recommend for intake and which for out.....this will vary on the size of my soon to come DIY carbon filter......thx
