My point is that if conservatives completely had their way with this country, we would NOT be living in paradise (as some of you seem to believe). Neither side has all of the answers - both are full of problems. And, in my perspective, on social issues conservatives have a LOT of problems.

Luckily, the pendulum of power swings back and forth, and mostly stays near the middle in a democracy.
