I am going to be growing 4 ww and 4 blueberry in an 8-pack waterfarm under 2 400watt HIDs, one is an HPS and the other is switchable HPS/MH...I will be vegging for about 3-4 weeks. Anyone have any ideas on how big of a yield i might be getting?

If your lucky and all goes to plan and you dont cock it up and you dont get any water issues or overnutes or bugs or sick plants or weak plants lol...........the list of things that can go wrong is large.

Anyway if everything goes well for you and they turn out all healthy and normal you should expect a max of about 400grams per square metre of bush or a new way of calculating seems to be to go for the gram per watt thing but i highly doubt that you will see 800 grams of dried weed on your first grow, however if you read as much as you can,use some kind of carboload product and if you run into any probs ask here for help and you should get a decent yield from that setup of at least 30 grams per plant dried if all goes well and if all plants perform.

So i reckon theres no reason that if your careful and do some reading up on tricks and tips theres no reason that you wont end up with at least 8 ounces,if all goes well:blsmoke:

You got great taste, man. I just started a WW and BB grow. Watch out for them BB a lot of them to tend to be mutants. I'm sure you'll find a good mom out of the four, tho.

i dont know why most places still dont measure in "per plant".
I don't think a per plant measurement gives you a good guage.

Having a set light say 400w on a 3x3 area gives you a good idea for comparison.

When you get per plant measurements you usually see that its something around the lines of 50-100g. So you don't really have any idea as to how much you can achieve from it as there are so many variables that come into play with that.

I'd say that if you do your job right and give it good conditions, you should really be hoping for around a pound of dried final weight, thats roughly 500g 2 ounces per plant.

If you do get any more then great, good job, but I think aiming for 2 oz a plant is a reasonable benchmark for your first time out.

i understand the logic behind that, but i always get a consistent weight per plant.... maybe the variables are too large here and m2 is still easier.. just my thought

"per plant" only counts when your doing sog, when every plant the more care and more gram it grows your gaining 1 gram per plant so if your growing 448 plants and with extra care is giving it a extra gram your gaining 1lb. That being said is harder done then said, a average person that does everything he knows will yield about 1.5lb per 1k lighting thats about .6-.8gpw, but if your good and you know what your doing everything goes perfect you will yield about 1gpw or more which is average 2lb per 1k lighting which isn't proven much, but isn't practical.

Thats because your variables are fairly consistent, but take 50 growers around the world and its not going to give them much of an idea of what to expect.

The average for yield on a sog, is roughly 400g, so if you look and you see its 275 then you know its a shitty yielder, if you see 400 its about average if its 600 then your looking at big bud sized strains.

I think it gives a real good idea of what to expect.
