Just got back from Jamiaca after staying at our Ganja Farmer friends, home over the holidays.

I was given a bunch of seeds from the harvest of this paricular field as seen in the attached pictures.

They refer to this strain as High Grade. It is the strongest strain that grows in Jamaica. My Friend says it only takes 3 months from seed to harvest.

Please help me identify this strain. As well please give me as much insight and direction in how to grow this indoors, with regards to a schedule of how many hours of light required a day for how long in each stage of growth.

Also can this plant strain be cloned?

Thanks

12/12 will always promote flowering with any strain, besides autos of course. And cloning won't be a problem as long as it is done right. Any plant can be cloned really, it's just a cutting :peace:
And congrats on the new strain! Looks like some sort of Sativa.

I'm not sure because if he says it takes 3 months from seed to harvest it very well could be a auto-flowering plant. And I'm almost positive it's difficult to clone a ruderalis (auto flower) strain.

they look sativa, are they clones,or thats just how they grow, with one cola.Well if your gonna grow indoor,go with SOG method.

3 months from seed to harvest sounds pretty normal to me, but I get what your sayin it being outdaoor and all. And I'm pretty sure ruderalis don't grow that tall and lanky. Looks sativaish, and being Jamaica that's probably what it is IMO. But what do I know :-P

Well the thing that also struck me as odd is that each of those plants have one single cola. It can be a sativa ruderalis hybrid. It just seems a little suspect for a SATIVA to flower from seed in 3 months outdoors. I guess it also depends on when they were planted. They could have been "late bloomers." I dunno, looks dank regardless.

No they are not clones, grown from seeds. This strain is refered to as High Grade. The locals go crazy for this smoke. And yes it just has one boom with only one Cola right at the top of it.

Thanks for all your help.

I would suggest you give them a vegetative lighting regimen for about a month or two and see if you get any automatic flower development. But if just keeps growing branches and fan leaves, it might be a regular plant.

its a winter crop i think its warm enough to grow year round but still has shorter days than summer I would think right? You should spread those seeds around everyone wants some jamaican highgrade! That's what strain it is it's surely a landrace that has been acclimated to that specific region with a little help from some great growers..look how uniform it is. I'm jealous my trip to caribbean only produced some bs weed with unusable seeds.
