I have heard before you go to flowering stage you should have 36 hours or darkness. Is this accurate?
I just switch to 12/12 and it works great for me. Think about it, what we are really trying to do is recreate nature so the plants can do there thing. Since when do we have a 36 hour solar eclipse to tell the plants in the wild its time to flower? To each there own I guess. Some pople say that yhe plants will enter flowering quicker. You do not need to do it thou. Most people just switch to 12/12.
I think thats a good idea. Not sure why but I think the majority of trych production occurs at night, so it makes sense to leave it in the dark and let the trychs go wild.I was talking about before flowering but I also have heard some turn off their lights before harvest. I have had varying info on that subject. Whats your thought should you turn the lights off several days before harvesting?
