If you don't mind, explain to me how this logic works. I've explained to you my issue with it - namely that the amount of people who view a program says nothing about the content said program provides, only that said program can woo an audience better than other programs - which I don't disagree with. Fox has some hot bitches, and some smart people that don't mind playing dumb on the air so as to give the impression that they're more "connected" with their audience, not to mention the amount of emotion a lot of their commentators display. Shame? Nah, fuck shame, none of those guys know the feeling of shame or guilt, they just know they get a paycheck every week so they keep up the act.

Also, I think it would be pretty obvious the easier the information is for the "average American" to digest, the more people would flock to it. Do you need me to pull up the FNC demographics, then correlate those with the demographics of educated people within the United States, or is my point already made pretty clearly?

I think Palin simply wants to get hers, $$$ that is. That's why she left Alaska to come down to the lower 48 prospecting. One doesn't make a lot of money running for president, especially when you know you don't have much chance.

But what's this? Well-connected people are whispering in her ear that there is a role for her - a role in which she can make millions and be a big name on the political scene for years, not months. She has a following, she brings eyeballs to the TV screen. She plays well in public, she can fill stadiums. She can breathe fire and be a pit bull going after the opposition. As long as she is well-scripted and well-handled, she is compelling. And in this role she never has to submit to any unfriendly interviews.

The plan is for her to be much more than another Huckabee on Fox news. They want to make her into a figure for her segment of America something similar to what Jesse Jackson once was for his. She can level brazen attacks and make news just by speaking. You don't have to be a genius to see this coming. You can believe it won't work, but it will to some extent. This is why they are afraid of her. A threat like this cannot be taken lightly. The attack is on. Problem, is - they have already hit her with everything but the kitchen sink and she's still coming.

I could not agree more. She is very well placed at FNC to make an enormous impact.

But, I just don't see her staying there for long. I am afraid she will 'resign mid-term' as she did in 2009 and make a run for 2012.

I see an opportunist streak in her that will ultimately not be good for Republicans.

I couldn't care less about that, but it would also open the door for another Democratic Presidential term; which would be bad for the country.
