Best Buds for Anxienty Prone People?

I'm sorry blaze its just I got into a 'debate' with someone yesterday and turned into a full blown arguement.
It was upsetting and I don't wanna feel like I did yesterday.

I don't know about this topic but I have anxiety prone issues but am also bi-polar so I have to be careful what I smoke.

Lets face it blaze, with anxiety prone people its gonna be risky just talking about it to anyone. besides I heard a LOT of what Natmoon was referring to this summer when i was doing my harvesting. So perhaps there is some truth to BOTH points of view.

Think about it.
Your right. Obviously, there is no changing his mind. Even with evidence and first-hand knowledge. Oh well, sorry to put you in a bad mood, Lacy. I'm done.

I'm done. You can either take my word for it. Or take the word of the guy who posted this. You obviously have no knowledge about anxiety or panic attacks. This post was all I needed to see how ignorant you are.
And i still believe that is the case for most of us,we become paranoid when we don't feel safe or we are around people that either accidentally or purposefully make us feel that way because they get off on it.

I have seen many lads over the years go out of their way to do the stoners head in especially in a social situation or when there are single females present.
But this is obviously not the case for people who suffer from clinical depression or clinical anxiety or schizophrenia etc. a properly diagnosed clinical disorder.

Your description was that you basically freak out when you toke good head weed when your with other people which tells me that your just not in a safe situation and you feel uncomfortable being around these people whilst you are stoned.:blsmoke:

Yes, Natmoon, is correct when he says the harvest time plays a role in it. He's wrong about sativas.

But, from personal experience, Indicas make me sociable. Sativas make me paranoid if I'm around ppl.

Ok, this is something We can agree with. This is true for 90% of the population. But for those of us diagnosed with anxiety disorders, weed can have a much different effect.

And I really do have social anxiety disorder. I get panic attacks, at least, a couple times a week. Weed or no weed. But, weed does help immensely, b/c I only smoke Indicas:mrgreen:

And now we have come full circle.
Do you really not get the fact that not all sativas are the same and that not all indicas are the same or are you just being a git?
It really does depend on the harvest time to the buzz that you get regardless of strain or species.
I bet i could give you some indica that made you trip your tits off and i am pretty damn sure you wouldn't like it:mrgreen:

i'd like to see more information on actual times of harvesting.

your argument cannot be won because you are both stuck on both sides of the fence. i am agreeing with the kush master, tho! i've smoked enough of it to know both the high and the anxiety.

Sigh...I wish Mogie were still here...She would set the record st8...Try to look up some of her threads about this, Natmoon, she's very knowledgable about this.
I'm done arguing tho, sorry I said u didn't know wtf u were talking about in my first post NM, I got it started off on the wrong foot.
Let's just agree to disagree.

You're neither Bro. But don't you think it's slightly possible u aren't sure on this subject b/c you've never had an anxiety disorder and never have done research on this subject?

"Indica and Sativa are the two main varieties of the cannabis plant used as medicine. There are many strains that are crosses of those two varieties. Within each of those varieties and crosses there are a huge number of individual strains, each with a different cannabinoid profile and effect. According to anecdotal evidence, the Indica strains are a relaxant, effective for anxiety, pain, nausea, appetite stimulation, sleep, muscle spasms and tremors, among other symptoms. The Sativa strains are more of a stimulant, effective in appetite stimulation, relieving depression, migraines, pain and nausea. We are now aware of specific strains that are effective for specific conditions and symptoms."

I understand that opinions run as high as the weeds around here, its not a big deal,i bear you no hate or vengeance, once its over its over, but i would still suggest that you might like to try some up high sativa strains that are renowned for giving pleasant peaceful happy highs and harvest them early when most of the hairs are still white.

Just because some dumb quack doctor gives you downers doesn't mean its the right thing to do,they do however shut you up and make them money, but they only mask the problem they do not solve it.

Getting used to a good sativa can really bring you out of yourself and cause your mind to evolve and if you find that its to much for the type of social situation that you are in just smoke them when your on your own.

If you feel like shit and your smoking indica all you are doing is masking your problems asimilar to taking the doctors pills.
Sativas can help your mind to rise above society's bullshit and social pomp and remain clear and introspective.

I have done so much acid and mushrooms in the past trust me i know how you feel, but i still think that sativas helped me to sort myself out by forcing me to think hard about myself which was unpleasant for a while admittedly but then you can reach a new place having had dealt with your probs and not masked them with a brainwhack pill or some over ripe indica:blsmoke::peace::mrgreen:

Cool. I saw that somewhere before too.
I'm starting a grow room and want to pick the best strains for me BUT since I'm probably more of a 'basket case' than any of ya it might be more difficult. ;)8)

Funny you should say that. I've never grown a sativa, but I was thinking about ordering some the other day. Just so I can have different types of highs. It may well have a lot to do with the particular strain b/c I have had very pleasant experiences with Haze. But, yeah most sativas give me a paranoid high. I'll give it a try tho and I'll try smoking it by myself, at first, like you said.:blsmoke: :peace:

LoL. I'm pretty much a basket case too, Lacy. LoL
You should try some of each. I was against growing Sats but I think I'll give both a try now.

With so many different strains they have out now it wouldn't surprise me. I don't know any of the strains I have but I do know that some of the highs I like better than others. I'm not sure if it is because if the strain itself or what but the subject is interesting.

I actually wished I had picked a couple of my plants when they were this way as I preferred this better.
I can remember some people saying that it is a personal preference BUT if this is the type of high you prefer then chop it now and I didn't. But it was an experiement and I don't regret it because I learned a lot.

I don't know much about this at all but it seems to make sense that much would have to do with when to harvest.

I prefer the clear headed high compared to that couch look high but found that MOST people prefer the couch lock high so that was a real eye opener.
I had no idea about this before but found it to be true so next time that i harvest, i will know my strains and I will pick my buds according to my own personal preference because it makes such a difference to me.

good info guys:mrgreen::blsmoke:thanks a bunch

IMHO when you harvest is the second most important thing in determining the high, next to the type of strain it is.

But, you really like the up high better, Lacy? I would think with your anxiety you would prefer that narcotic, stop thinkin about shit, high.:blsmoke:No? It doesn't make you paranoid or your mind start racing?

Ok we'll compare notes but I'm pretty sure I'd win hands down.:lol:

Yes me too with the growing different kinds. I have 5 different types now from last harvest and what I sometimes do is mix them. Its awesome so I thought it would be really nice to mix an indica with a sativa's

Yes it does BUT I am bi-polar SO I don't want to be slowed down to much or I get depressed. Its a balancing act for sure.
If I am haing a panic attach i want the calming weed, BUT for the most part, I like the clear headed thinking high.

See I don't really go anywhere. I don't see many people so I don't get that paranoid. Drinking too much coffee and things like that make my mind race more and if I haven't smoked for a really long time.

Like thats gonna happen:roll: (hee)
