Maximizing an autoflower plant

Background: So out of idle curiosity and sheer boredom I decided to start a quick indoor grow in a simple DWC 10gal tub with an LR2 x auto ak47 under a few CFLs (around 150watts worth, includes both 65k and 27k spectrum) I have lying around.

Keeping it both simple and cost effective, I'll be running mainly GH Floranova Bloom start to finish. At full strength it will be dosed at 8ml per gallon (as per the Lucas formula, or some variation of it) and I will supplement with the last remnants of my GH 3pt Flora series if need be.

My question: What can I do to maximize this grow?

Vary the light schedule (breeder suggests 20/4 thru-out the grow)?
Training (LST,top,FIM,ScrOG)?
Super-Attentive pH/rez maintenance?

Reasoning: I understand and agree that growing a non-AF strain would produce both a larger and more potent harvest (I will have some real AK47 after this next season), but I had to give an AF a go if only to keep me occupied until outdoor season. I have product remaining from my indoor grow harvested in November and am simply curious as to how the AF strains would do. I think that 40-50g from the 1 plant is plausible. If I am way off the mark let me know.

I am currently growing an Auto AK-47 atm, its only one week old, i have it under a 600watt mh/hps, lol

The only thing I see that catches my eye is you fertilizing plan, I would either use one series or the other, not mix and match, and you may want to consider feeding some veg nutes for the first 10 days.

good luck AK

Got it, I don't have enough 3part to last more than say the first 3 or 4 weeks so I'll do some research and see if switching to the flora nova will cause problems. I'm fine using FN the whole way thru, and I can get a little extra veg nute sol'n if need be. Thanks for the input!

I just germed and planted 5 lowlife autoAK47. I've got it under 400w hps right now. They are in 2gal FF light warrior and ocean forest mixed 1:1.

Besides your normal little tips. Because the plants are smaller, I have made reflectors to keep the light directed at the plants. They're made out of cardboard box and a white sheet.

I'm actually making a reflector that I can mount on the box, surrounding the plant, out of some leftover cardboard and survival blanket scraps while I'm surfing ROI. Good call though, reflectors are KEY with CFLs. It really makes a big time difference and reflectors are so damn simple/cheap to make.
