Easy enough to find info but the basic premise is that you have a tray 5-7" deep, a resevoir below with a pump that floods the tray through a 1/2" line and a 1" overflow set to the depth you want to flood...............I you can go to the hydro shop and look at one....you'll see how easy it is to build your own out of an underbed storge tray, a rubbermaid tub, a fill/drain kit, pump, hoses and timer........ In time, you can replace the homemade tray with store bought...a 2x4 tray goes about $50 and will last many years......
