The question of IQ has been raised By Rick White, so I thought I'd put out the ranges and see where everyone on this forum, rates themselves, then actually see where your IQ puts you: You do not have to reveal your IQ, Just vote in your category. We will then see the average.

does IQ decline over time or is it always a fixed number

when i took the actual sit down test (fuck what a long day) 4 years ago it was 131, are there different tests for different age categories or is it a one size fits all kind of thing?

i dont really know anything about the IQ system, im not afraid to admit when im in the dark, i asked a question about the IQ system... and im met with this?

Different tests have different scales so the numbers don't all agree.

And anyone who was tested as a child was probably given an unreliable outdated short test in school. Only those tested in recent years by a professional are true tests. The tests take several hours to complete and cover a wide range of skills and aptitudes. Plus, there are two scores, one verbal and the other task oriented.

Oddly, when the subject comes up, damn near everyone was tested in school as a child and scored exceptionally high. I was tested a few times as recently as a few years back due to dyslexia but I think it would be tacky to discuss a specific score.

Are you for real? Personal attack. How can asking a question or presenting a poll be considered a personal attack. I see we already have 2 geniuses on board. I always knew I was in the company of geniuses. I did state poll was anonymous, where is the attack in that. So, If I were to ask you a question that you didn't like, would that then be a personal attack?

geniuses? i always kinda figured that what you did with what you had was what made you a genius. accomplishment means so much more than potential and potential is all that iq defines. the ability to grasp complicated concepts seems of little use in a society designed to accommodate morons.
