Safe growing in a small cardboard box?

My current grow of 6 plants just got destroyed and i have to start a new stealthy one.

But how safe is it to grow in a card board box that is about 2 feet high almost and a foot wide. i was thinking about 3 cfls and some 12/12 again.

Would this be a safe to grow in?

i plan on sticking it in my garage around some junk and am worried about fire hazards most importantly.

If this is a good one, but painting the inside with white paint be ok?

Not just that, but carboard is pretty flimsy and humidity will destroy it, and mold is always a risk.
well what can i use for a halfway stealthy growbox that wouldnt look out of place in a garage. I am really at my wit's end. I lost my plants and i really want to start back up. I just need something significantly small that i cant do a micro 12/12 grow in

An old wardrobe, behind some chairs or rakes. Or build a 3'x2'x4' box.

Are you still living with your parents? If so, get your own place if you are gonna grow.

yup, sounds like you're trying to grow under your parents nose.

i'd also reccomend against a cardbaord box. for a start if it was just sitting in the garage, and i didn't know what was in it, i'd open it and have a look. and of course the reasons above :)

i dont think this is a good idea either ive got a cardboard delivery box and its about 4ft high and 4ft square and ive also painted it white aswell but being as the temperature hits around 27 celsuis theres no way im using cardboard for that kinda heat and also like thebigragu says no air flow unless u create it with fans comin in and out of the box but still not a good idea with the heat ur mixing with.......unless u get a bigger box like theone ive got and isntall another wooden box to go inside it but yet still wood ca be flammable too.......

take a look at my grow, i'm using an old dog cage, just put cardboard all around it, seems to work fine, low temps, 2 fans tho.
