Discoloration in leaves?

Hello I'm a first time grower looking to have a couple of questions answered in regards to my specific method of growing in "Hempy Buckets" I did some research on it and was on the simplicity of it in many aspects such the vermiculite and perlite combination are both PH neutral, the fact the there's a reservoir for the roots to tap into and constantly have nutes available etc. But I seem to be having a problem with controlling my PPM for some reason by this I mean that I mix my nutes at the given ration of the bottle for instance the GH 3 part micro series as indicated on the bottle for beginning of flowering and i measure the nutes and their still under the 1000 PPM readings then I take a sample of the reservoir and its at 500-600 PPM and I'm frankly stumped?? It's been about two months and I haven't flushed can it be that there's a salt build up and have caused a block or something in that sense? I really need advice and help Also i noticed some of the leaves are like discolored maybe like a gold color pretty awkward and only in some leaves I'm using a Folitech foliar spray. I'm using mostly the line from Advance and I'm open to all suggestions....

I dont know how these buckets work but if there is a reservoir and there are roots accessing the nutrient water, I would imagine it is because the plants are consuming nutrients. Hense lowering ppm.

You always have to flush. If you take 500ppm soil and add another 500ppm you get 1000ppm. The best way is to flush before you flush with the new nutrient mix. I always flush my plants with 5-8 litres of water and pour a litre and a half of nutrient mix (1200ppm) into my 2 gallon pots and flush them through with new mix. This way you dont have old salts building up and burning you plants, and also changing your pH which causes more lockouts

So let me get this right I have to flush it to maybe avoid the possible nutrient lock and salt build and then just add a new batch of nutes at the right PPM?? Also I noticed that water evaporates daily so topping off daily is necessary to avoid resevouir from drying out? If so do I top off with water every other day or just a mix of nutes daily?

Like I answered earlier in one of your other posts... Too much nitrogen. You may have great growth at first, but later on the ferts will burn up your roots..ease up...
