So i was wondering if a female clone can turn into hermaphrodite and pollinate other female clones?
it took a bit of experimenting at first to get them dialed down so they suffered some stress during transplanting. could stress turn the female clones into hermaphrodite?
i had the light cycle on 24/7 but the plants didnt like that so i switched to a 18/6 and about a week later they are showing signs of white pistls growing from tiny sacs. they dont really look like seed sacs but i'm wondering if they could be. should i be worried or are these just preflowers?
i have a chem dog clone i got from a dispensary and it has been growing much faster than the rest of the plants because when i got it the guy told me it was on sale because it was older than the other strains they were dispensing. most of the leaves on the chem dog are showing 3 leaves on them. could this be a sign of a hermaphrodite or a female turned into male? or should i be wary of getting more clones from this dispensary?
im worried because the rest of my female clones are showing small signs of white pistils and it is only a little less than 4 weeks after i replanted the rockwool into fox farm ocean forest soil. most of them are very small still because of the stress i put them through because of the heat of where i am. they look like they are growing fine now but im concerned about these newly forming pistils.
is it possible for the chem dog clone to turn into a hermaphrodite and pollinate the rest of my tiny 6" female clones? is this even possible under a 18/6 cycle?
i was also wondering if changing the cycle from 24/7 to 18/6 will induce flowering or the formation of pistils?
here are some pics i tried to take but i couldn't get the focus good enough. hopefully they help. any advice is appreciated!
