I am new and have a 600w farming 6 plants and have 8 cfl's daytime fluorescents attached to the reflector that i think are something like 100w each...something like that. Is this beneficial having the cfl's? also i head that it may be better to position near the underside of the plants. Any info or help would be wonderful, thank you in advance.

The 23/100 cfl lights put out a ton of lumens these will help your yields a good deal. Keeping them at the shaded areas near the bottoms would be perfect!
