2 2200 watt vertical flowering rooms

Hi. I've got two rooms set up on flip flops. 3 ballasts.. 1 100watt. 2 600 watt. I'm distinguishing between the two rooms as big room and small room. Big room has 8 bushy plants in 5 gallon containers. Small room will have upwards of 100 small plants in 1 gallon containers. Big room is in 2nd week of flower and is comprised of 6 TH Seeds chocolate chunk, and 2 DNA Genetics pure afghan plants. The small room is comprised of clones from the chocolate chunk and afghan plants as well as some DNA Genetics lemon skunk, which were freebies that came along with my seed order from Attitude Seed Bank.

The nutes being used are general hydroponics grow and bloom dry formula. Tap water is sitting for 24 hours. EC of tap is .2. Ph is 7.3. I add nutes to a level of .8 EC, which drops Ph to 5.7. I add Ph up to a level of 6.7. I have been flushing every 2 weeks, and runoff is typically .8 EC and 6-6.5 Ph. I am having some leaf discoloration problems in the big room, and am not sure if it is under nute of over nute deficiency. *When nutes run out which will be soon, I will be using Peters veg and bloom nutes. I plan on using molasses in flowering as well.

Rooms RH is 62% and temp is 72 F. This remains pretty stable throughout lights on. When lights off its about 58% RH and 67 F. CO2 levels are 1200-1800 ppm lights on and 600 ppm lights off. CO2 is brought in from hot water heater exaust. No CO levels showing up on CO meter.

Here are pics of big room showing the 3 lights(1 1000/2 600) in triangle formation with the 8 plants. I'll get pics of the small room/stadium grow tonight right before lights flip over.

I'm thinking that the stadium is going to utilize the light much better and will yield much more. This is an illegal grow, however, so the high plant count is a concern as the state I live in punishes based on plant numbers. Anyways, if the yield of the stadium grow is much larger, both rooms will probablyl become stadiums. Both rooms utilize 700 cfm carbon scrubber. and two fans. No exhaust. Big room is about 1000 cf, small room is about 500 cf. I estimate total power from grow at 3,300 watts running 24/7. This includes veg room with 400 watt mh and diy bubble cloner running 100 watt air pump.

Any advice is welcome. This is my 3rd indoor grow, on a much larger skill. I am still very new at reading signs of plant problems.

I have a question regarding my nutrient levels of .8 ec. I mentioned that I have leaf discoloration on bottom fan leaves. Not sure if its over or under feeding. This link suggesgts it could be 'leaf chlorosis', brought on by such small change in night/day temps. That info is the last paragraph of the 'temperature control' heading. The author of this article mentions feeding being ideal at 1.5-1.8 EC. What EC/PH are you other soil growers feeding at? I've been doing .8 ec/6.5 ph, becaues that is what I have read on numerous articles/grow journals. I am using the soiless mix 'pro mix hp'

Sucks that I have to go over to VG to see updates

It's a shame there's not more vert growers on this site - when I do mine in a few months, I'm requesting a vertical forum to be added.

bob that's pretty cool that you have seen it at vert green too. that site hardly has any members.... i posted it up there because i figured i could get more input, from farmers who have done the riu thing for a while. vertgreen seems to have some seasoned growers. as soon as i posted this thread, within a day it was 6 pages back and i was like shit, no one is going to see this. anywho, anyone who wants to see the grow finish up check out http://www.verticalgreen.org/showthread.php?2412-Two-2200-watt-flowering-rooms&p=5534#post5534..... but i'll also post final picks up before i cut the plants down on this thread. peace
