This is a thread where i can give you some insight..
A friend grew dutch passions bluemoonshine and to tell you the truth, it was AMAZIING!! clones ended up at a few friends places and everyone has been very happy with the results, it has a strong mango candy smell, and when it burns a beautiful hashy vibe comes through when the spliff is half done... I had a beautiful Northern lights male that i was planning on crossing something with, I love Northern lights and i have been reading alot about breeding with it... so i Wanted to try, unfortunatly i had no other strains going when the male opened its sacks.. so i let it happen and the NL polinated the Blue moonshine... It is now my head stash, and by far my favorite strain to smoke on the regular.... this new hybrid has been named bunny blue cause the bluemoonshine clone i used came from my good friend who's nick name is Lapin
( rabbit) in french ... hence the Bunny Blue
with a friend i bought a pack of blueberry from Dutch P.
of the 5 seeds i got one was a male and since i hate to throw away plants that havent been used for anything, i gave the male to another friend who had an empty growing tent at the time and he flowered them to finish, we collected the pollen in a airtight container and freezed it, in between time i had gotten my hands on 3 clones of strawberry cough(Dutch P) and i figured why not use the blueberry's pollen to pollinate the strawberry, from this cross we got the beans and sprouted a hand full, kept the nicest clones,
2 pheno's came out, one very very strawberry cough like, but lower yield... Nothing great.. the other is also not such a great yielder but it turns a beautiful dark purple during flush, the taste is also out of the world! Unfortunately no one kept a mother of this pheno...
Here are a few pics from the bunny blue,
and the last pics are of the blueberry x strawberry
If you have any growing questions about these strains, let me know ill do my best to help you out
pics of the plants were taken the day of harvest!
Enjoy and take it EASY
peace!
