u wanna look at your trichromes to tell when they are done.. get a 30x microscope and harvest when most triches are milky and just starting to turn amber...no clear triches

if you wait to late to harvest (amber triches) the thc starts degrading becoming less potent more couch lock... pull to early and then u also lose potency and yeild.

Not really MORE per say unless you were adding lights as you flowered.

However, if you harvest early you get a different high and a different taste than if you harvest late.

To know when to harvest look at the trichromes. You will need at least a 30X magnifier to see if they have changed colors from clear to milky white, when a good majority have, then it is regular harvest, if yuo wait longer it is late harvest, and if you harvest when there are mostly clear trichrimes it is early harvest.

When you harvest is directly related to the effects you want to recieve I like to harvest early with hybrids and later with Indica strains. But that is IMO

It's all about the quality not the quantity at that point. The genetics and the results of your hard work, or lack of it, have already determined the quantity that you are going to get. Think of like the bell shaped curve at school, things are going to get better and better, hopefully, then they will peak. After the peak they will start going down the other side of the curve. Go Go has provided good advise the bad part is that it's all about a trained eye. Good luck.

Hey med user!!! That was some seriously helpful information!!! I am brand new to growing. Yet a veteran smoker!! My babies just sprouted today actually!!! Far from harvest but thank u so much for that pic. That's jus what people like me need. Being very unfamiliar with all this "trichome" talk!! Lol. Hey should I just stick with the finger inthe soil theory for watering? And should I spray the leaves with water as well? Thanks again

Hey back at ya. Im book smart cant grow a plant to save my life.

I personally use the lift the pot method.

I feel how heavy the pot is after watering, then once every few days I lift it. If its really light Ill think about watering.

Some people use a moisture meter, but I donlt like jabbing into my plants roots to keep checkin.
