almost ready.......


i put a plywood roof on and hung my light and fan. then i foam sealed all the cracks. hung the mylar. i need some plastic tubs for the floor to put my pots in and i'm ready to flower. hopefully with in the next couple days my plants will be moved over to their new room.

Have you used that neem oil mix yet? What kinda of bugs you got? I have what I think are thrips, little bastards.
But I don't use that store bought stuff, lol. Good old dish soap, water and vinegar mixed in a spray bottle does the trick. :mrgreen: :peace:

i got a bucket of super poison mixed up. i've dipped them once. i will dip again tomorrow. then re-pot.:twisted::twisted:

i'll go with this one for now. it does have some discoloring on the inside but it's not to bad.

nice plants m8y, shame about the mites little fuckers just dnt no when to piss off, i know this mite sound crazy, but when i got em last year....i went to local garden centre, had alook around at the diffrent bug killers and found one, cant remember wot its called but it had tomatoes on front, i stated that it killed loads of diffrent bugs including white spider mite and red spider mite....i used for 3 days b4 the little critters started disappearing, day 6 and they had al just about died...mite be worth having a look m8t, this was in the attick and all my plants got coverd...i thought that was the end but luckily the mixture sprayed 3-4 times a day worked just fine...hope it goes well m8ty...

i transplanted the ones ready to flower. they were getting top heavy and tipping over. i'm just about to my last hook on my light so i don't have much choice but to move them. i dipped them again this morning. i used extra neem oil and bug busters. i added some hot water to my bucket because it was pretty cold out. my plants all have a nice sheen of neem on them. i think i may win. i need to get some plastic tubs to set my pots in and either a new oscillating fan or shelf for the ones i have. :blsmoke:

i'll get tubs tomorrow. i put my fan on a bucket, fuck it. they look happy. kitty walked thru several times to check everything out. she says "meow, meow".:blsmoke:

i'm using up the last of some veg i have. something organic i had left over from outside. they were out of metanaturals so i got this. i forget what it's called. i will use metanaturals for flowering.

i found a store about an hour away that sells metanaturals, time for a road trip...i do need more soil..:-?

fdd can you clear up something for me, i have a space 4 ft x 2ft x 3ft H
24 ft cubed. how much ventalation would i need to properly ventalate it.

and if youve ever delt with a cooltube, i would like to know if it would be possible/smart for my area. or should i just stick with cfls.

sorry about changing the subject of the thread, i just keep getting idiots telling me oposite things. one person says i need to ventalate room once every 3 mins one says i need a 250 cfm fan( 10x a min ) one person tells me i can put a cooltube in easily and another tells me its not possible in any way.

thanks for any help i can get. i can get details on room temp low high humidity ect.. and box is in my sig, its alittle crude but its my first grow and the box isnt compleat yet

you want to vent the room 3 times a minute. stick with that # unless you have problems. i think a cool tube may work in that small cabinet. to bad it wasn't standing on end. you might be able to squeeze a 250w HPS in there with a vented hood also. :blsmoke:

thanks for the responce i think ill go with a 50-100 cfm smaller computer fan for the ventalation for the grow box(to keep it quiet) as for the cooltube im not quite sure, i just had someone with a cooltube tell me im an idiot for even considering it in a box that size ( by any chance do you know how many db isnt hearable(if thats a word) )

theres the thing. i dont have much. if any experience. i know enough info .. ive read throu forums alot.. but all the information in the world is no substitute for experience. if i was to do it... pots are aprox 8 inches high.. 2 gallon( good for 2 feet of growth) and 6 inches for the cooltube .... which leaves 22 inches for ideal plant growth... less for actual area.... so id fuigre id grow plants aprox 8-10 inches tall with some lst then put them right into a screen( or just continue using alot of lst no screen) then flower so they'd finish about 16-20 something inches lsted so theyd be smaller. the plants i have now have short flowering time aprox 60 days so hopefully theyd cut out growing half way throu . id take out the bottom branches so they could focus on just some big top colas ...8 sq ft of floor room so around 8 plants hopefully finishing around 15 inches (give or take) and idealy i'd like to get an oz a plant but i understand that it prolly wont happen the first time
