Going into flowering....

Alright,

So I have been in the vegetative stage with my darlings for about 2 months now. I am unsure how to determine sex at this point, but should I?....I am wanting to move them into the flowering room.

My question is, do I move all plants into the flowering room....or am I supposed to know which are male and female before I move them into this room?

In veg, using 400w MH, in flowering using 400w HPS.

As it stands now, these puppies are about 2 ft. tall, but again, I am unsure about the sexing methods....but I want to move them into flowering ASAP.....Thanks for everyone's help in advance!

There are some very advanced people who can tell at such an early stage, i am not one of them. Put them in flower. The males will show sex before the females do, and will take a few weeks to mature their flowers before they can release pollen. So its safe to have them show sex together without fear of pollination. Just get rid of the males as soon as you are satisfied that they are indeed male.

Also if they are 2 feet now, they will get to be around 5 feet tall by the time they are ready to harvest.

You need to put them into 12/12 and after a few weeks you will know which ones are male or female. Here's some info>> http://www.kindgreenbuds.com/marijuana-grow-guide/malefemale.html

You can do it either way. But, once you know which ones are the males, destroy them.

switch lighting to 12/12

after about 3 days you can start to look to determine the sex. Its best to pick out those males asap. dont worrie about it pollinating, all you have to do is keep a good eye on them
