Barney's Violater Kush ~ Not 65 days.

I grew out 4 Barneys Violater Kush.
Harvested one at 65 days and the pistils where still white on top and the Trichomes where Huge bulbs of clear cloudy.
The high is up and entergitic. A good amount of resin and sticky.



This next one I took at 68 days in and the buds are much more denser and filled in nicely. The trichs are all cloudy with 2% amber. More sticky than first one. Just took her down last night.
I enjoyed the high off of the first one so I took her down before couch lock.

I have two more in 12/12 (69 days) going for 3-5 more days. I want 20% amber for one and ? for the other. Just over night they both are so coated with resin it's ridiculous. The Trichs are all Cloudy and still 2% amber.
I am thinking I might reach 75 days on the last one.

Just a heads up to others growing this strain, let it go longer than the 65 and you will see wonderful changes. just keep an eye on the trichs and push her far. :weed:

Thank you both. Yes I grow in soil Kid bluntz. Fox Farm Ocean Forest. Like to see more look on in my album. Paticulairly the New York Special. It was seeded on page 1 or way back there. That was a great grow. All indoor too.

Well I think it was cloned and veged for 3 months ( I clone from mature plants only). She was 3' then I put her from a 3 gallon into a 5 gallon and then she was 2' 5" then she got like 4' before I could slide them into the flower room. There where 4. 2 are left and all of them reached 6'7" in bloom, had to LST 4 weeks in.

Pretty awesome harvest man, great job. How much light do you use to penetrate the canopies for all those?

I use a 600hps around 15" away. The bottoms (1/2 way down 1" nuggets) look great. They are covered in trichs and standing tall. I even scope a trich head so fat it had a small trich head on top. That was crazy.

Yeah Larry a Keeper. But he must be watched! I have seen him trying to carry out bud in the wee hours of the morn. :o

Just an update on the last Vk in 12/12 ~ She is going on day 77 today and as of last night the trichs where still less than 5% amber and the bottom of the buds are swelling and the tops are yet to swell. I am waiting for at least 20% amber and full bud swell.

Thanks Dr.RR It's crazy that one is still left in 12/12 but she is not ripe yet and to watch her swell from the bottom of a bud to the top of a bud gives me a whole new perspective on when to harvest.
I am telling you the truth, it was amazing triming up the 3rd one that sat in 12/12 for a extra week, I was like amazed and from now On I am not ever going to pull a harvest until the buds swell completely.
